One day , Wang Xianzhi asked his father how to improve his calligraphy skill .His father told him that he should practice all the time with the 18 vets of water until he finished it.

Calligrapher –Wang Xianzhi
Wang Xianzhi had been learning calligraphy from his father since he was a child .He has a good knowledge of five categories of Chinese scripts. But he was more famous for his running form and cursive form .
Only a “dian” liked your father‟s calligraphy
When Wang xianzhi had practiced for a long time and used up 5 vets of water .he wrote a „da‟ one day and showed it to his father .Wang Xizhi said nothing and just added a „dian‟. When his mother looked at the character ,signed : My son have practiced for three thousands of days ,but only a „dian‟ likes his father‟s calligraphy.

• Wang Xianzhi‟s calligraphy was based on his father .But his was easier and more simple. He created the cursive form which was written by one strokes. • Wang Xizhi‟s calligraphy was more steady-going .
