Hello everyone,
My name is _____ and I am a student majoring in Chemical Engineering. It is my great pleasure to introduce myself to you today.
I come from ______, a city located in the southern part of China. I graduated from high school in 2018 and then entered
______ University. As the chosen major, I have been pursuing Chemical Engineering for three years. Through studying and exploring, I gradually found my interest and confidence in this field. With what I have learned, I can promise that I am ready for the challenges and responsibilities brought by the major.
In terms of my academic performance, I am proud to say that I have been doing well in my studies. By continuously striving to improve myself, I have achieved some outstanding academic results. I have won the scholarship for excellent students of my university for two consecutive years, and I have also been on the Dean's List for two times. Besides, I am an active member of the Chemical Engineering Association and have taken part in various academic activities held by it, which greatly broadened my horizons.
Apart from academic achievements, I also have some experience in practical work. During a winter vacation, I worked as an intern in a chemical plant, where I familiarized myself with the basic processes of chemical production, including distillation, adsorption, and filtration. I also learned about the importance of safety and the significance of environmental protection in the chemical industry.
In addition to my major courses, I have also developed some skills and interests outside of the classroom. For example, I like playing basketball, which not only improves my physical fitness but also cultivates my team spirit. As for my future plan, I am looking forward to a career in Chemical Engineering after graduation. Therefore, I am determined to pursue further education in this field, maybe in the form of a master's degree or a Ph.D.
