1Scoring the Zhongkao English Writing - What's it All About?Hey there, fellow students! As we're getting closer to that big, scary Zhongkao exam, I know a lot of us are feeling pretty stressed about the English writing part. But don't worry, I've done some digging and I'm going to break it all down for you in a way that even we kids can understand!First off, let's talk about what the graders are actually looking for. The main things they care about are: 1) Did you understand the writing prompt and answer it properly? 2) How good is your vocabulary and grammar? 3) Can you organize your ideas clearly? And 4) How creative and originalare your thoughts?Sounds pretty straightforward, right? But as with most things in life, there's a bit more to it than that. The graders have a very specific rubric they follow to make sure everybody gets a fair score. It's almost like a multiplayer video game, except instead of battling monsters, you're battling words and ideas!Content and Response to the Prompt (25 points)This is the most important part - did you actually answer the question or write about whatever random thing popped into your head? The graders want to see that you clearly understood the prompt and didn't just ramble. Here's how they break it down:Totally missed the point = 0-6 pointsSort of understood but went off-track = 7-12 pointsDecent understanding but lacking details = 13-18 pointsNailed it! Clearly answered the prompt = 19-25 pointsVocabulary (20 points)Using that big fancy English vocab you've been learning is key! The more advanced words you sprinkle in (as long as you use them correctly), the more points you'll score.Mostly simple words a 3rd grader uses = 0-7 pointsSome basic midlevel vocab = 8-12 pointsGood variety of advanced terms = 13-16 pointsLooked up sexy vocab in the thesaurus! = 17-20 pointsGrammar (20 points)Nobody's perfect, but the graders still want to see that you have a decent grasp of sentence structure, verb tenses, and all those grammar rules your English teacher is always rambling about.Grammarly would cry reading this = 0-7 pointsQuite a few mistakes, but I get the idea = 8-12 pointsJust a few minor errors = 13-16 pointsBasically flawless grammar = 17-20 pointsOrganization (20 points)Having your paragraphs all flow together in a logical way is important for keeping the reader's attention. Graders love to see a clear introduction, body, and conclusion.Totally disorganized word vomit = 0-7 pointsSome organization but jumps around = 8-12 pointsMostly coherent structure = 13-16 pointsEverything flows perfectly = 17-20 pointsCreativity and Originality (15 points)This is where you can get bonus points for coming up with unique ideas and putting an interesting spin on your writing. The graders don't want to read the same dull essay a million times. As original as a cheap action movie remake = 0-5 pointsA few sparks of creativity here and there = 6-9 pointsSome cool original thoughts mixed in = 10-12 pointsWildly unique and creative ideas! = 13-15 pointsSo there you have it - the entire scoring breakdown straight from the horse's mouth! Well, more like from some grumpy old grader's mouth. But you get the idea. The most important thing is to just relax, follow the prompt, show off your English skills, and try to make your writing a little different from everybody else's. Oh, and maybe spend a little less time watching TV and playing video games in the weeks leading up to the exam. That's probably a good idea too.Just kidding...kind of. Anyway, I hope this inside scoop helps take some of the mystery and stress out of that writing section. You've got this! Or as we teachers' pets like to say...you've totally got this in the bag. Yeah, I'll stop now.Good luck everyone!篇2Scoring the Fujian Middle School English Exam CompositionsHey there friends! I'm gonna tell you all about how the big kids' English compositions get scored for that huge Fujian middle school exam. It's a pretty big deal and the teachers have to be super careful when they're grading those essays. There are a bunch of different things they look at to give a fair score. Let me break it down for you!Content (25 points)This is the most important part. The teachers want to see if the writers understood the topic and had something interesting and relevant to say about it. They need to stick to the main point and develop their ideas in a clear and logical way from start to finish. Using examples and details to support their views is a must. If they just ramble on without making much sense, they'll lose a bunch of points here.Language (25 points)For this part, the teachers check if the writers used good vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structures. They want to seethat the kids have a wide range of words and can put them together properly. Making tons of silly mistakes with verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, articles, and stuff like that is a no-no. Having variety in their sentences is good too - not just short simple ones but some longer compound/complex ones to show they've leveled up their English skills.Organization (20 points)Here the teachers look at how well the composition is structured and flows from one idea to the next. There should be a clear introduction that grabs the reader's attention, body paragraphs that make sense and link together, and a good conclusion that wraps it all up nicely. Using transition words and phrases to connect the parts smoothly is important. Just throwing ideas around randomly in a messy way won't work.Task Fulfillment (20 points)The kids have to follow the instructions for the writing task properly. If it says to discuss both pros and cons, they can't just talk about one side. If it asks for a certain type of essay like argumentative or narrative, they need to stick to that format. Including all the key points and requirements gets them full marks here. Missing major things means points get deducted.Mechanics (10 points)Last but not least, the teachers check for proper spelling, punctuation, capitalization, paragraph indenting and all those mechanical details. Having tons of careless errors makes the writing look sloppy. Neat handwriting or typed work is expected too. If it's too messy and hard to read, that's an issue.Whew, that's a lot to keep in mind! See why learning how to write well in English takes a lot of practice? The teachers have a detailed scoring rubric they follow very carefully. A composition that hits all those points can score up to 100 - but anything less than around 60 is considered failing. No pressure though! As long as the kids work hard and apply what they've learned, I'm sure they'll do great. Those are the main things the teachers look for when grading the Fujian middle school exam English compositions. Having a solid plan, using good techniques, checking carefully, and doing lots of practice essays is the way to go. Just dont leave it until the last minute! You'll be all set to impress with your awesome writing. Let me know if any part of the scoring seems confusing and I'll do my best to explain it better. Okay study buddies, time to get writing!篇3The Fujian Middle School Entrance Exam English Writing Test Scoring Awesomeness GuideHey kids! Are you getting ready to take the big English writing test for getting into middle school in Fujian? I know, I know, it can seem really scary and stressful. But don't worry, your pal Claude is here to break down exactly how your awesome essay is going to be scored!First off, let's talk about what the scoring gurus are looking for overall. Basically, they want to see if you can communicate clearly in English and get your point across in an organized, logical way. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, there's a bit more to it than that. The scoring breaks down into four main categories: Content, Coherence, Lexical Resource, and Grammatical Range and Accuracy. It's kind of like how you need four different Lego pieces to build an awesome spaceship model. Let me explain each one:Content (25% of your score)This part is all about what you actually wrote about and how well you covered the topic. The graders want to see that you stayed focused, gave relevant examples/reasons, and developed your main ideas thoroughly. It's kind of like making sure you included all the key spaceship parts like engines, wings, and a cool laser cannon!Coherence (25%)Here, they're checking if your writing flows smoothly from one idea to the next. You need to use good transitions, structural words, and keep things logical and well-organized. It's the "instruction manual" that explains how all those spaceship pieces fit together properly.Lexical Resource (25%)This fancy term just means the graders are looking at your awesome vocabulary skills. They want to see that you used a wide range of vocab words, idioms, and expressions accurately and appropriately. It's like having all the colors and special pieces toใใใ make your spaceship model look super rad.Grammatical Range and Accuracy (25%)Last but not least, this portion looks at your grammar skills. Having minimal errors with sentence structures, tenses, articles, and other grammar rules. After all, you can't build an epic spaceship if all the pieces are broke or missing!Still with me? Awesome! Now here's where it gets a little more complex. Within each of those four main categories, your essay is being scored on a scale of 0 to 5. A "0" is like forgetting to include the spaceship engine - not gonna fly! A "5" means you hit everything out of the park for that section. But hold up, there's even more specific criteria for what earns a particular score within each category. For example, under Content, a 5 means you gave "excellent response to the prompt with fully developed and well-supported ideas." Pretty cool, right?A 3 is more "adequate response developing some main points adequately." And a 1 is just "attempted response to prompt but missed main idea."It gets really detailed like that for each possible score in the Coherence, Lexical Resource, and Grammar sections too. So many little spaceshippy pieces to account for! The graders aren't messing around. There are also special considerations for essays that are too short (under 120 words gets an automatic 0!), totally off-topic, or illegible/unreadable scribbles. Those would be like turning in an empty Lego box for your model!Phew, I know that was a lot of info to absorb! The main thing is to write a focused, well-organized essay that covers the topic thoroughly. Use your best vocab and be super careful with your grammar. If you put in the practice, your writing will beout-of-this-world!Just remember this cosmic guidance from your pal Claude, and you'll ace this test and launch yourself into an awesome middle school experience. Good luck, space cadets!篇4Title: How to Score Well on the Big Fuzhou Writing TestHey there, fellow kids! I'm here to share some super important info about the Fuzhou middle school English writing exam. As a bright young student, I know how crucial it is to do well on this test to get into the coolest middle school. So listen up and let me break it down for you!The writing section is a pretty big deal, and the graders have a whole set of rules they follow to score your compositions. It's like they've got a secret code or something, but don't worry, I've cracked it! I'm going to let you in on all the juicy details so you can write a killer essay and impress those graders like nobody's business.First up, let's talk about the overall scoring system. Your composition will be judged on three main areas: content, structure, and language. Each of these areas has a different weight or importance, so you'll want to pay close attention to all of them. The content section is worth the most points, a whopping 60% of your total score! This is where the graders look at how well you've addressed the topic, how much detail and supporting information you've included, and whether your ideas are logical and coherent. It's like they're judging how well you can think and express yourself on the given subject.Next up is the structure section, which makes up 20% of your score. This is where they check if your essay has a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. They also look at how smoothly your ideas flow from one part to the next and if you've used appropriate transitions and connectors. It's likethey're making sure your essay is well-organized and easy to follow. Finally, there's the language section, worth the remaining 20% of your score. Here, the graders will be looking at your grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and punctuation. So go forth, my fellow kids, and conquer that Fuzhou middle school English writing exam. You've got this!篇5Hi everyone! I'm going to tell you all about the important scoring rules for the big English essay part of the Fujian Middle School Entrance Exam. This exam is a huge deal and the essay section is really important, so you need to know how it will be graded. I'll explain it simply so it's easy to understand.First off, there are three main criteria the graders will look at: Content, Language, and Structure & Coherence. Content is all about what you actually wrote - did you fully answer the prompt, include good details and examples, and develop your main ideas well? Language looks at your vocabulary, grammar, spelling - basically if you used English properly. And Structure & Coherence means if your essay is organized logically from start to finish. For Content, you can get up to 12 points. To get a perfect score, you need to fully respond to the writing prompt, with a clear thesis statement, solid main ideas, relevant supporting details, and a proper conclusion. Your examples and evidence have to be specific and well-explained too. If you just write some general, basic stuff without going into depth, you'll lose a bunch of points. On to Language - this one is worth 8 points max. The graders want to see that you can use a wide range of vocabulary words, idiomatic expressions, and sophisticated sentence structures. Of course, grammar and spelling have to be on point too. If you just use really simple words and sentence patterns over and over, your score will get docked. The same goes for having too many grammar mistakes or misspellings. Finally, there's Structure & Coherence for 5 points. Your essay needs to be organized logically into clear paragraphs with good transitions between ideas. Within each paragraph, your sentences should naturally build on each other. Having your ideas jump around randomly with no cohesive flow will definitely lose you points. A well-structured essay is clean and easy for the grader to follow. Now let me break it down even further with the specific scoring criteria for each point level:Content (12 points maximum):10-12: Outstanding response, fully addresses all aspects of the prompt, substantive development of ideas with concrete evidence and details, cohesive and unified thesis and conclusion8-9: Adequate response that addresses most aspects of the prompt, sufficiently developed ideas with some details, relatively clear thesis and conclusion6-7: Limited response that addresses some aspects of the prompt, inadequate idea development and lack of details, unclear or unfocused thesis and conclusion0-5: Poor response that inadequately addresses the prompt, little to no development of ideas, lacking or no thesis and conclusionLanguage (8 points maximum):7-8: Excellent command of vocabulary and language structures, few to no errors in grammar/spelling/mechanics5-6: Adequate range of vocabulary and language structures, some errors but meaning is clear3-4: Limited vocabulary and language structures, frequent errors that may obscure meaning0-2: Poor command of vocabulary and language structures, pervasive errors that significantly obstruct meaningStructure & Coherence (5 points maximum):5: Outstanding organization and logical progression of ideas, clear paragraphing, transition seamlessly between sentences and thoughts4: Adequate organization and progression of ideas with acceptable paragraphing and transitions3: Limited organization and progression of ideas, inconsistent paragraphing and transitions0-2: Poor organization and progression of ideas, lack of paragraphing and transitionsThose are the full scoring guidelines! I know it's a lot to take in, but just do your best to write a focused essay that answers the prompt completely. Use plenty of good examples and transition smoothly between your ideas in an organized way. Don't forget accurate grammar and vocabulary too!If you follow all those criteria, you'll be sure to rock that Fujian English essay section. Just take it step-by-step - first plan out your main ideas and supporting points, organize them into a logical outline, then write clearly and double check your language. You got this! Let me know if any part of the scoring seems confusing and I'll explain further. Wishing you all success on the big exam!篇6Scoring the English Essay on the Fujian Middle School Entrance ExamHey kids! Tommy here to tell you all about how the teachers will be grading the English writing part of the big Fujian middle school test. This is really important stuff, so listen up!First off, there are four main things the graders will be looking at:Content and ideasOrganizationLanguage and vocabularyGrammar and mechanicsEach of those four areas is worth 25% of your total score for the essay. So you gotta do well in all of them to get a high score overall.Content and Ideas (25%)For the content part, the graders want to see that you stuck to the topic and had lots of good, original ideas related to theprompt. They'll be checking that you understood the prompt properly and didn't just ramble about random stuff.Your ideas should be creative and interesting, not just boring facts that everyone already knows. The graders love it when you share your own unique thoughts and personal experiences that relate to the topic. You'll also get more points if you develop your ideas fully with lots of details and examples that really bring them to life. Weak, unsupported ideas won't score as high.Organization (25%)Next up is how well you organized your whole essay. Did you plan it out first or just wing it? The graders can totally tell!A well-organized essay should have a clear intro paragraph that grabs the reader's attention and previews what's coming. The body paragraphs should be logically ordered with good transitions between ideas. And you better have a solid conclusion that wraps things up properly! The intro, body, and conclusion paragraphs should all be clearly structured with topic sentences and supporting details. Sloppy, disorganized writing is hard to follow and will lose you points.Language and Vocabulary (25%)For this part, the graders are checking your English vocabulary skills and how well you used language. Did you just use super basic words, or did you really "wow" them with your vocabulary smarts? You'll get higher scores if you use more advanced, expressive, and precise words that are perfectly suited to the topic and your ideas. Don't just settle for simple, overused words - show off the full range of your English word knowledge! At the same time, don't just randomly stuff in big fancy words that don't make sense. The language should flow naturally while still being interesting and vivid. Be sure to use idioms, metaphors and other figurative devices too.Grammar and Mechanics (25%)Last but not least, the graders will be meticulously checking your grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation...basically all those picky "mechanics" of the English language.Things like run-on sentences, sentence fragments, incorrect verb tenses, and pronoun agreement errors will definitely hurt your score in this area. So will tons of careless spelling and punctuation mistakes. The grammar and mechanics need to be close to flawless to get full points here. Sloppy writing filled with errors is an instant turn-off for the essay graders. Those are the four big criteria they'll use to score your Fujian exam essay! Do awesome with your content and ideas, organize everything clearly, show off your awesome vocabulary skills, and make sure your grammar and mechanics are on point.Study hard, think creatively, and write from the heart! You've got this! Let me know if you have any other questions about the scoring. Good luck, young writers!。

I get up early in the morning. Then I have breakfast.I like eating 2 eggs and a bottle of milk. At 700, I go to school on foot. 大家会发现这个段落没有任何语法错误,但仍然分数很低,因为通篇都是一个句式。
要想句式丰富,希望同学们在作文中适量使用定语从句、感叹句、倒装句、祈使句等特殊句型。
所以可以这样改After getting up early in the morning, I have my breakfast , including 2 eggs and a bottle of milk. Then, I choose to go to school on foot, which is the healthiest way to keep fit. 两句话,已经表达出了所有事件,还加上了自己的想法与目的。
