S INGLE P ULSE G ENERATOR M ODEL

I NTRODUCTION
This is a simulink model which generates a single pulse of all definable parameters. In Simulink [Release MathWorks Inc.], there is no model of a pulse generator which generates only single pulse. This model outputs a single pulse. The parameters of the pulse which can be set by the user are: Start Time
Stop Time
Pulse Amplitude with respect to Ground
Normal Level
"Normal Level" determines the Base Level of the signal and "Pulse Amplitude with respect to Ground" defines the level of the signal with respect to ground when the pulse has arrived.
For example:
The following parameters’setting produces (outputs) a pulse shown in screenshot.
Start Time: 5
Stop Time: 6
Pulse Amplitude with respect to Ground: 9.25
Normal Level: 5.75
U SING S INGLE P ULSE G ENERATOR M ODEL
1) Open singlepulsegen.mdl in Simulink.
2) Copy the block "Single Pulse Generator".
3) Paste the block in the Simulink Model File where you want to use it.
4) Double-click the "Single Pulse
Generator" block and set the parametres of the pulse are namely "Start Time", "Stop Time", "Pulse Amplitude with respect to Ground" and "Normal Level".
5) Then click "ok" and enjoy your simulation!

C OMPATIBILITY
The model file has been tested under:
Release 11.1 [MATLAB 5.3.1, Simulink 3.0.1]
Release 12 [MATLAB 6.0.0, Simulink 4.0]
(PC, Windows 98, XP)
It works fine for later versions as well. However, it is not supposed to operate under versions below than Matlab 5.

If you encounter any bug or otherwise unpleasant behavior, please contact the author. If you include the version of MATLAB and Simulink you are using, the author will have a much better chance of duplicating your problem and finding a solution.
