While it is impossible to live completely free of stress, it is possible to prevent stress as well as reduce its effect when it can’t be avoided. The US Department of Health and Human Services offers the following suggestions for ways to deal with stress.
Try physical activity
When you are nervous, angry or upset, try releasing the pressure through exercise or physical activity. Running, walking, playing tennis, or working in your garden are just some of the activities you might try.
Share your stress
It helps to talk to someone about your anxieties and worries. Perhaps a friend, family member, teacher or even your leader can help you a better view of what’s troubling you. If you feel your problem is serious, you might seek professional help from a psychologist or a doctor. Knowing when to ask for help is an important step in avoiding serious problems later.
Take care of yourself
You should make every effort to eat well and get enough rest. If you easily get angry and cannot sleep well enough, or if you’re not eating properly, it will be more likely that you will fall into stressful situations. If stress repeatedly keeps you from sleeping, you should consult a doctor.
Make time for yourself
Schedule time for both work and entertainment. Don’t forget, play can be just as important to your overall well-being as work. You need a break from your daily routine to just relax and have fun. Go window-shopping or work on a hobby. Allow yourself at least a half hour each day to do something you enjoy.
Make a list of the things you need to do.
Stress can result form disorganization and a feeling that “there’s so much to do, and not enough ti me”. Trying to take care of everything at once can be too much for you and as a result, you may not achieve anything. Instead, make a list of everything you have to do, then do one thing at a time, checking off each task as it is completed. Set out to do the most important tasks first.
Go ahead and cry
A good cry can be a healthy way to bring relief to your anxiety. It might even
help you avoid a headache or other physical effect of anxiety and stress.
41. What is most probably the writer’s purpose in writing the article?
A. To release his or her working pressure.

43. The sentence “Trying to take care of everything at once can be too much for

The American school has changed dramatically since those lively days of my boyhood, and the change seems to have made it a place where few events happen.
I know this remarkable truth because every day that I met one of my children after school, I said, “How was school today?”
And the child would reply, “Okay, I guess.”
“You guess? Didn’t anything happen there today?”
“Like what?”
“Oh… I don’t know. The cause of the Civil War?”
“Dad, what’s Civil War?”
“You remember the earthquakes that hit Egypt?”
“Who’s Egypt?”
I have never met a father or mother who got anything other than true-false answers to after school questions.
The best a parent can do today is partly-involved in the school work of a child.
“Sign this test, Dad,” said my youngest daughter one evening, and her left hand casually covered the top two inches of the front page.
“May I see the mark first?” I replied.
“It’s not important. You and Mom always say it’s learning, not marks, that counts.”
“Right, but I’d like to learn about your mark. Is it lower than a D?”
“Dad, you have to remember that a mark is merely the teacher’s opinion.”
“Is it lower than an F? Have you gotten the world’s first G?”
Well, it took an hour before my daughter showed me her mark on her test, and it took me a half-hour to decide whether to sign it.
Then I asked to see the composition that she had written. On the top of the composition was a bright red D. I asked her if “D”was the title of the composition.
A sweet smile spread across her face, and she said, “Yes, Daddy. How did you know? ‘D’stands for ‘delightful,’and that’s what my teacher thought of my composition. ”

One possible version:
Should college students hire a cleaning person?
Some people think that college students shouldn't hire a cleaning person .For one thing, if they hire others to clean the dorm and wash their clothes, how could they become independent and form the good habit of living. For another thing, it is a waste of money.
Some are on student s’ side. They think that college students are grown-ups and have the right to decide how to spend their money. Besides, if students don’t have to
do the housework themselves, they can save time for more important things.
In my point of view, college students ought to do the housework themselves. Otherwise, how could they shoulder greater responsibility in the future? What’s more, strangers coming in and out of the dorm will make it harder for the dorm management.。
