牛津初中英语9B 教材分析在9A探讨完人与人之间关系后，本学期我们将要开始研究人与社会间的关系。
9B第一二单元所涉及的话题紧扣学生的现实生活，同时又向他们周围的世界逐步扩展，既引起学生学习英语的兴趣，又引导学生探索身边的世界。
下面，我想就本人对教材的理解对各单元的重难点进行分析。
Unit 1 Life on Mars【概述】本单元的话题是让学生学习思考在另一个行星上生活的前景和可能性，也学习衡量和比较不同环境的优、缺点。
语法教学目标有两个:一是用Can, could,may 和might等情态动词来请求许可。
二是学习由that, if whether 来引导的宾语从句。
本单元可以激发学生的想像力，鼓励学生对于未来的生活进行创造性思维。
提醒他们，在谈论未来时答案没有对错之分，因为没有人知道将会发生什么。
鼓励学生用英语进行表达和交流观点。
ic strip and welcome to the unit部分主要讲述行星上的生活和可能用到的东西，而vocabulary部分则学习了宇航员所要使用的设备，两部分都涉及到太空生活所要用到物品的名称，因此建议可把welcome和vocabulary部分合并在一起教，计划用课时为1课时半。
学生对于与宇航相关物品的名称比较生疏，掌握起来有一定的难度，在教学中我们力求做到图片，情境和话题相结合，帮助学生在学中用，在用中学。
2．在教Reading部分有如下重难点1）由于本课涉及一部分天文知识，因此尽管单词不多，但长单词较多，且学生平时接触这些单词的机会教少，在教学过程中要加强单词读音和用法上的操练。
在情境和意义中呈现和操练新单词，过好单词关。
2）层层铺垫，为学生读懂课文搭建脚手架。
本篇文章较长，在课文阅读中可采取总分总的方法，即用问题导读的方法，先整体阅读，后分段阅读，最后进行全文回顾。
本课难点之一便是将地球和火星生活作一对比。
在课本P11/C2 部分对此作出了要求，但实际上要学生在学习完文章后立即填写该表格的话，有相当一部分的学生存在困难。

对于这节课我将以教什么、怎么教、为什么这么教为思路，从教材分析、教法分析、学法分析和教学过程四个方面加以说明。
一说教材本课以school lives为话题，以学习life in a British school and in an American school为载体，以find out the differences between a British school and an American school为任务。
为了使同学对这一话题更感爱好，在教学过程中，我预备采纳多媒体帮助教学这一教学模式设置情境，有效地将单词、句子和情景相结合，达到语言点的敏捷运用和同学学以致用的目的。
教学目标：能听懂，会说，会读，会拼写单词mixed,subject,sew,tasty,hero,close,taste and article.能依据关键词和上下语境猜想课文大意。
重难点：本课是Reading的第一课时，主要为了完成这样一个任务，即通过阅读理解文章主题，通过设计一些如true or false questions, answer questions, fill in the blanks, line the words 等练习题检查同学对课文的理解程度。
由于新课程标准要求大力培育同学的阅读力量，所以通过阅读理解文章大意就成了本课的重点。
通过对文章的理解要求同学能用自己的语言描述出相关内容，这就是本课的难点。
二说教法1. 直观情境教学法：本课将利用多媒体创设情境，激发同学的奇怪心和求知欲；设置语境，使同学体验语言的真实、自然，从而培育同学组织和表达语言的力量。
