Unit 6 I’m watching TV.
单元话题:能够听懂以日常活动为话题的听力材料,用现在进行时描述自己或他人正在做的事情,能够读懂以日常活动为话题的文章,并以书面形式描述自己或他人正在做的事情。现在进行时:be + v-ing
重点短语:
wish to do v.希望做某事eg: I wish to see you again.
wish 还可以做名词eg:Best wishes for you.
talk on the phone 通过电话交谈,注意介词on。on常与媒体或通信类名词搭配,如on TV, on the Internet, on the radio…
基本句型:
1.—What are you doing?
—I’m watching TV.
2.—What’s she doing?
—She’s washing her clothes.
3.—Are you doing your homework?
—Yes, I am./ No, I’m not. I’m cleaning my room.
4.Zhu Hui misses his family and wishes to have his mom’s delicious zongzi.
知识点讲解:
1.This is Jenny speaking.
(=This is... speaking.=… speaking.)为打电话用语,意为“我是……”在西方国家,电话接通后,接电话者常常自报姓名或号码以便让对方知道
你是谁。如:Hello, this is Kate speaking.=Hello, Kate speaking.你好,我是凯特。用英语打电话,询问对方是谁时,不用“ Who are you?”,而常用“Who is that( speaking)? 或“ Who is speaking, please?”
2. I’d love to.
I’d love to.=I would love/ like to.意为“我愿意”。常用于礼貌地接受他人的邀请。其中to不能省掉。
如: ---Would you like to come with us to the show?
---Thanks, I’d love to.谢谢,我很乐意。
3. Do you want to go tomorrow then? 那么,明天你想去吗?
want 想要,其用法如下:
(1)后跟名词,即want sth.“想要某物”。如:I want two books.
(2)后跟“to+动词原形”,即want to do sth.“想要做某事”。如: I want to drink some water.
(3)后跟宾语加动词不定式,即want sb. to do sth.“想要某人做某事”。如I want my teacher to buy two books.我想让我的老师买两本书。
4. Zhu Hui misses his family and wishes to eat his mother’s delicious zongzi.朱辉想念自己的家人,希望能吃上母亲做的美味粽子。
(1)wish to do sth.意为“希望做某事”。wish作动词时,意为“希望;想要;祝愿”,常构成短语wish sb. to do sth.意为“希望某人做某事”。
如: I wish to go to the movies with Jill.我希望和吉尔一起去看电影。
I wish the English teacher to ask me to her home.我希望英语老师邀请我
到她家去。
(2)wish还可作名词,意为“祝愿,祝福”。如: Best wishes to you.给你最美好的祝愿。
5. Here is a photo of my family.这是我家的全家福。这是一个倒装句,其正常语序为: A photo of my family is here.倒装句中的谓语动词遵循就近原则:即离here近的名词是单数则谓语动词就用单数;离here近的名词是复数则谓语动词就用复数。
如: Here is a book by Lu Xun.这是鲁迅写的一本书。
Here are two pens.这儿有两支钢笔。
单元语法:现在进行时
1.概念和基本结构:be+现在分词,be随主语的不同可以变换为am, is ,are。如:She is doing her homework now.
2.句式变化:
肯定句:主语+ be + v-ing+其他eg: He is cooking now.
否定句:主语+ be+ not doing+其他eg: He isn’t cooking now.
一般疑问句:Be+ 主语+ v-ing + 其他?eg: Is he cooking now?
答语:Yes, 主语+be./ No, 主语+ be + not. Yes, he is./ No, he isn’t.
特殊疑问句:特殊疑问词+ be+主语+v-ing +其他?
3.标志词:now, at the moment, look, listen, etc.
4.现在分词的变化规律:
(1)直接在动词原形末尾加ing, 如looking。
(2) 以不发音的e 结尾的动词,应先去掉e 再加ing, 如making。
(3) 以重读闭音节结尾的动词,且词尾只有一个辅音字母应双写该辅音字母,再加ing,如running,stopping,swim, sit, cut, etc. 当堂检测:
