第一单元教学设计Lesson 1 A Pefert Day教材分析本课是第一单元第1课。

本文的语篇是有关两种不同生活方式的文章,学生将在本课获得有关不同生活方式的信息,学习有关生活方式的词汇,理解文章大意,使用略读、细读等阅读策略,学生要将阅读信息内化,转换成自己的语言,并针对自己以及周围人的生活方式进行描述。

本课的语法是一般现在时和现在进行时。

学生在初中阶段已经学过这两种时态的基本用法,本课的重点是复习和巩固两种时态的用法,以及两者之间的区别,学生要能够在语篇中识别,在语境中运用这两种时态。

本课计划用两课时讲完:第一课时的重点是阅读课文,理解课文主要内容,提取信息,处理信息,认读课文中有关生活方式的词汇,对自己以及周围人的生活方式进行描述;第二课时复习和巩固有关生活方式的词汇,从课文例句中发现,归纳一般现在时和现在进行时的区别,并在语境中恰当的使用这两种时态。

本单元主题为lifestyles”,而本节课主要任务是阅读题为A Perfect Day的文章,本文介绍了我们日常生活中的两种不同的基本生活方式---懒人生活和工作狂生活。

本课时是本单元的第一课时,课型是阅读型课,也希望通过对这节课的学习能够启发学生应该拥有健康的生活方式和如何拥有健康的生活方式。

本篇文章在本单元中占有重要地位。

通过对本篇文章的学习,学生能够提高他们的阅读能力,并掌握如何用英语表达生活习惯,这对本单元后面围绕这个主题所开展的听说读写很重要。

[学情分析]他们是刚刚升入高中的学生,因为三年的初中基础,他们已经具有一定的英语语言基础和思辨能力,绝大多数同学对英语学习兴趣较为浓厚,好奇心及学习动机也比较强。

但是,在英语口语交际能力方面,由于英语口语基础薄弱,课上又害怕开口说英语,缺乏自信心,所以口语交际能力相对较弱,因此教师应当时刻鼓励学生利用每个机会说英语,以达到锻炼口语的目的。

另外,高一学生对于阅读策略如skimming and scanning的运用还很欠缺,老师需要充分利用课堂时间对此进行针对性的指导和训练[教学目标]根据新课标的课程理念,我从知识与能力、过程与方法、情感态度价值观这三个方面确立以下三个目标:1、知识与能力目标::让学生学习并掌握本课的重难点词汇及词组;让学生掌握skimming and scanning这种阅读技能,让他们能够快速从文章中提取有效信息;让学生通过对本文的学习能够运用所学语言知识用自己的话描述他人或者自己的生活方式。

2、过程与方法目标:通过感知、品悟、探究、拓展等活动过程提高学生创造性思维能力和口语表达能力,培养学生学习能力;通过自主学习、合作交流,体会自主与合作的过程方法。

Lesson 1 A perfect day教学设计
一.学生分析:
学生是高一新生,刚刚完成三年的初中学习,已经具备一定的学习能力,对高中的学习生活比较期待,对英语的学习兴趣还比较浓。

因此在设计这堂课时要着重从激发学生的兴趣出发,引发学生学习的积极性,循序渐进地引导他们阅读并理解文章,掌握一些阅读技巧。

二.教材分析:
本节课属于阅读课,主要谈到了现代社会典型的两种人couch potato 和workaholic 的不同生活方式。

话题是学生所熟悉的,要通过阅读这两篇短文,启发学生思考什么才是健康的生活方式以及怎样改善他们现有的生活方式。

三.教学目标:
1.知识目标:讨论学生喜欢的电视节目;学习两篇关于生活方式的短文。

2.能力目标:培养学生预测课文的能力和快速阅读与精读的能力
3.情感目标:使学生认识到什么是健康的生活方式并努力养成良好的生活习惯。

四.教学重点与难点:
1.Make the students understand the two texts better.
2.Make the students try to think about how to improve their lifestyle.
五.教学过程:
Step I Warming up
1.The teacher presents some pictures to make the students know the meaning of key words in
exercise1.
2.Ask the students to answer the questions: what are your favorite kinds of TV programme?
Why?
3.Ask the students to look at the two pictures on page 8-9 and predict what the two texts are
about according to the pictures. Ask the following questions:
What kind of lifestyle do you think the man in the first picture has?
Do you ever watch too much TV? How much time do you spend watching TV every day?
What kind of lifestyle do you think the man in the second picture has?
设计意图:引出话题,激发学生兴趣,活跃课堂气氛,为导入新课作铺垫;通过多媒体呈现图片的形式帮助学生认识并理解一些关键词,为阅读作好准备。

StepⅡ Reading
1. Fast reading
Give the students a few minutes to go through the texts quickly .Then play the tape for the students to listen to the texts and let the students try to finish the following two tasks.
Task1: Underline the TV programmes that Brian usually watches.
Task2: Underline the kinds of work Bob does every day.
设计意图:教师要培养学生预测内容的能力和引导学生养成快速阅读材料并获取信息的良好的阅读习惯,这部分的问题比较简单,大多数学生都可以轻松完成;听课文录音是有声输入,培养学生的语感。

2. Intensive reading
Ask the students to read the texts carefully and then finish the three tasks.
Task 1:
Ask and answer questions about the text: A couch potato. (Pair work)

c.Where does he watch TV and what programme doe he watch?
d.What programme does he watch in the afternoon?
e.What does he do in the evening?

d.Does he do some work before going to bed?

Task 3:
Compare the two completely different lifestyles, and try to tell the advantages and disadvantages of each one. Discuss which one you prefer and tell why .or you have another opinion.(pair work)
