The Story of My Progress

My progress has connected with my mother.

Three years ago, I was a shy girl. I was afraid to speak in public. My mother was warned about that. One day, my mother heard that a Chinese speech competition would be held in my school and she encouraged me to take part in the activity. At first, I was shocked by her advice, but I didn't want to let her down, so I agreed. During that period, my mother often took me to the park to practice. I still remembered that day when I heard I won the first prime, my mother smiled happily. Now I am an outgoing and confident girl. Thanks to my mother's encouragement and company, I have made such great progress.

Understanding signs is as important as understanding languages Signs can be found everywhere and they are necessary in our daily life. In my opinion, understanding signs is as important as understanding languages.

One day, a little boy saw a traffic “safety” sign on his way home. For fun, he started to kick it with his feet. As a result, the signs fell down carelessly. No one paid attention to what happened that time. The next morning, there was a car accident just at the right spot, which was caused by no sign! Someone was badly injured in the accident. If the boy knew that understanding signs is as important as understanding languages, there would be another result.

In a word, it is easy for us to find understanding signs is as important as understanding languages.

Growing up with my parents

I consider my parents as the most important people in my life. This is not because they’re wealthy or famous. Rather, what I value about most is the care and love they show to me.

My parents work hard, however, they’re always there for me. Whenever I get into trouble and need a hand, they come over first to support me and encourage me. I grew up with their care and love. While they’re getting older with grey hair, they never lose courge or effort in both life and jobs.
