为什么要学习英文解释单词书？
答：培养纯英文思维，提高做题速度及准 确率 《泰坦尼克号》中一句经典台词如是说： “ I love waking up in the morning and not knowing what’s going to happen, or who I’m going to meet, here I’m going to wind up.” 读这段美文时，问问自己？ ——我需不需要翻译成中文去理解？ 如果回答是——yes 的话，那我的阅读速 度、准确性是受到这种中式思维限制的，这种 中式思维也会导致我做阅读理解时的速度减 慢，并且在口语以及听力上难以按照正常的速 度进步。 中文解释好比是学习英语的“拐棍”，当你 刚刚开始学习走路的时候，你需要这根“拐棍” 来帮助你行走，但是当你要加速行走或者要奔 跑时，你就必须要抛弃这根“拐棍”来学习英 语，也就是用英文解释来学习英语单词，用英 语的方式来学习英语，提高英语考试成绩。 对于要参加英文考试的我们来说，常常面 临近义词辨析，可是很多单词的中文解释是一 样，于是很多的中文解释单词书就会在单词旁 边注明二者的区别： devour 强调狼吞虎咽地吃,引申指吞 灭或毁灭; swallow 指不经过充分咀嚼就囫囵吞 入肚中,强调匆忙。 对于这样的解释，你不仅需要记忆二者的意 思，同样还要背诵他们的区别。 我要多长时间才能够背住这个区别? 区别记住了，还要多久时间能够将区别和 单词对应起来？ 就算记住了，我能记住几天？ 记住了，我会不会使用？ 难道我学英语就只能为了应付一场考试？ 可是，如果学习他的英文解释呢？ swallow: If you swallow, you make a movement in your throat as if you are swallowing something, often because you are nervous or frightened.
