两分钟英语演讲稿6篇两分钟英语演讲稿 (1) Ladies and Gentlemen, Good afternoon!I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. Today mytopic is “youth”. I hope you will like it, and found the importance inyour youth so that more cherish it.First I want to ask you some questions:1、Do you know what is youth?2、How do you master your youth?YouthYouth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind; it is not rosycheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : itis the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity ofthe appetite, for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists ina man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a numberof years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.Years wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul.Worry, fear, self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back todust.Whether 60 of 16, there is in every human being ‘s heart the lureof wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joyof the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station: so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so longas you are young .When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows ofcynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 ,but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , thereis hope you may die young at 80.Thank you!青春青春不是指岁月,而是指心态。

As a virtual assistant, I can provide you with some sample speecheson the topic of "outstanding two-minute English speeches by middle school students." Here are five of them:Speech 1: The Power of KindnessGood morning, everyone. Today, I want to talk about the power of kindness. It's easy to be unkind to others, especially when we feel angry, frustrated, or jealous. However, it takes real courage and strength to be kind, especially when it's not deserved orreciprocated.I was reminded of the power of kindness when one of my classmateswas being bullied at school. She was new, shy, and didn't speakEnglish very well. Some kids didn't like her for some reason and started to tease her, push her around, and call her names. She was visibly upset and felt isolated and alone. But then, something amazing happened. Another classmate stood up for her and defended her. He told the bullies to stop and check themselves. He offered to help her with her English and invited herto sit with his friends at lunch. He showed her kindness, and itmade all the difference. From that day on, the bullying stopped, and my classmate became more confident and happy. She made new friends and started to feel likeshe belonged. And it was all thanks to the power of kindness. So, my message to you today is this: Be kind to others, especiallyto those who need it the most. It doesn't cost anything, and it can change someone's life for the better. Remember, the world needs more kindness, not less.Thank you.Speech 2: The Importance of FailureHello, everyone. Today, I want to talk about the importance offailure. It's easy to think of failure as something bad or embarrassing, but it's actually an essential part of learning and growth. Without failure, we wouldn't know how to improve, innovate,or succeed in anything.I learned this lesson the hard way when I tried out for the school soccer team. I had played soccer before and thought I was pretty good, but when I tried out, I didn't make the cut. I felt frustrated, disappointed, and embarrassed. I wanted to give up and never play soccer again. But then, I realized that failing didn't mean I was a failure. It meant that I had room to improve and skills to develop. It meantthat I could learn from my mistakes and come back stronger next time. It meant that I had the courage to try something new and face my fears. So, I decided to keep playing soccer, practicing every day, and learning from my coaches and teammates. I made mistakes, but I also made progress. I learned how to dribble, pass, shoot, and defend better. And eventually, I made the team and played in a game. It was one of the best feelings in the world. From that experience, I learned that failure is not the end of the road, but just a bend in it. You can always turn around and try again, take a different path, or ask for help. Failure is not a setback, but a setup for success. So, embrace it, learn from it, and grow from it.Thank you.Speech 3: The Beauty of DiversityGood afternoon, everyone. Today, I want to talk about the beauty of diversity. Diversity means having people of different backgrounds, cultures, beliefs, and identities working, learning, or living together. It's a fact of life, and it's a strength, not a weakness.I was reminded of the beauty of diversity when I went to a summer camp last year. The camp had kids from all over the world, with different languages, religions, and customs. At first, I felt a bit intimidated and unsure how to interact with them. But as we startedto share our stories, interests, and talents, I realized that we had more in common than I thought. We all wanted to have fun, to learn new things, and to make friends. We laughed at the same jokes, played the same games, and sang the same songs. We also learned from each other, tried new foods, and appreciated each other's differences. From that experience, I learned that diversity is not a barrier, but a bridge between people. It breaks down stereotypes, ignorance, and fear. It also enriches our lives, expands our perspectives, and broadens our horizons. So, let's celebrate diversity in all its forms, whether it's in our schools, workplaces, or communities. Let's appreciate and respecteach other's backgrounds, cultures, beliefs, and identities. Let's build a world that embraces diversity, not just tolerates it.Thank you.Speech 4: The Power of EducationGood evening, everyone. Today, I want to talk about the power of education. Education is the process of learning new knowledge, skills, and values that enable us to achieve our goals, express ourselves, and contribute to society. It's a lifelong journey, andit's the key to personal and social development.I was reminded of the power of education when I visited a school ina rural area. The school was small, rundown, and lacked resources. The students were from poor families, and some had to walk long distances to get to school. But despite these challenges, they were eager to learn and improve their lives.I talked to some of the students and asked them what they wanted tobe when they grew up. Some wanted to be doctors, others wanted to be teachers, and others wanted to be engineers. They all had big dreams and aspirations, even though their circumstances were tough. From that experience, I learned that education is not just aprivilege but a right. It's a tool that can break the cycle of poverty, ignorance, and discrimination. It can also empowerindividuals and communities to create a better future for themselves and others. So, let's value and invest in education, whether it's through our schools, libraries, or online platforms. Let's support and encourage students, especially those who face obstacles and challenges. Let's also remember that education is not just about getting good gradesor degrees, but about becoming a lifelong learner and a responsible citizen.Thank you.Speech 5: The Importance of Mental HealthGood morning, everyone. Today, I want to talk about the importanceof mental health. Mental health refers to the state of our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and behave in different situations, and it's essential to ouroverall health and happiness.I was reminded of the importance of mental health when I wentthrough a tough time in my life. I was struggling with anxiety, stress, and loneliness, and I didn't know how to cope with these feelings. I felt ashamed and embarrassed, and I thought I was theonly one who felt this way.But then, I realized that mental health is not a taboo or a weakness, but a common and natural human experience. It's okay to ask for help, to talk to someone, or to seek professional support. It's also okayto take care of yourself, to practice self-care, and to prioritize your well-being.From that experience, I learned that mental health is not just an individual issue, but a societal and global one. It affects all of us, whether directly or indirectly, and it needs to be addressed and supported. It also requires empathy, compassion, and understanding from ourselves and others. So, let's prioritize and promote mental health, whether it's through our schools, workplaces, or communities. Let's also reduce thestigma and discrimination associated with mental health and create a culture that values and respects everyone's well-being.Thank you.。

Everybody was born with a heart for beauty. Today in China, with the rising of our living standard, people's requirement of beauty has been heIghtened accordingly. Some people spare no money or energy on beautiful clothes, fashionable hair styles, the decoration of their houses and even the improvement of their looks. But it seems to me,all these are more or less confined to the beauty in appearance,or rather, the outward beauty. In my opinion,we shouldn't only pay attention to beautiful appearance and neglect the beautification of the mind and what we are after should be the perfect unity of the outward beauty and the inner beauty. As we all know,so far as objects and animals are concerned, there is only beautiful appearance to be mentioned, but to us humanbeings, although the outward beauty really matters, the inner beauty is much more important. This was confirmed by a famous Russian writer in words much like this: "A person is not lovely for being beautiful but beautiful for being lovely. " Here, I'd like to quote two typical instances and I'm sure, my dear friends, from them you'll find out what real beauty is. Recently I learned from the radio an unpleasant incident about a well known singer. She is very charming with a sweet beautiful voice and very famous for singing the song."Devotion of Love". Not long ago,she was invited to Zhejiang Province to give performance. The moment she was to appear on the stage, she suddenly asked for more reward. Worse still, after her request was satisfied, she didn't begin to sing at once. Instead, she took her time to count all the money piece by piece. Thus she kept the audience waiting for half an hour. So when she at last showed up and started to sing "Devotion of Love",a man rose up from his seat and shouted at her,"You don't have any devotion of love. You are not qualified to sing this song ! "Hearing this, the singer stopped singing and began to shout abuses with her finger pointed at the man. At this time the whole audience burst into an uproar. How disappointed her keen listeners were when they learned this! It is the singer herself who spoiled her beautiful image in the eyes of others. Now, I'm coming to another true story. It's about a poor, ordinary looking old woman. She was a widow without any children, living barely from hand to mouth by picking odds and ends from rubbish heaps. However, she took in more than ten homeless orphans successively and managed to bring them up. Every day she labored from morning till night. In order to earn as much money as possible to raise the children and to keep them in school, she even went to a hospital regularly to sell her blood. She got so weak for the loss of blood that she sometimes fell in a faint on her way home. Responsibility is a Badge of Honour for Youth.两分钟精彩的英语⼝语演讲稿(3) Whether there's afterlife, the answer has never been the same. The atheists deny after life, believing that our life is no more than from the cradle to the grave. They may care about their illustrious names after death; they may feel attached to the affection of their offspring, but they never lay their hopes on their afterlife. They may also say that good will be rewarded with good, and evil with evil, but they don't really believe any retribution in their after life. However, in the religious world or among the superstitious people, the belief in afterlife is very popular. They do not only believe in afterlife, but thousands of reincarnations as well. In the mysterious world, there are the paradise and the hell, the celestial beings and the gods, the Buddha and the Bodhisattvas. Maybe they really believed it, or maybe they just wanted to make use of people's veneration, the ancient emperors always declared that they were the real dragons, the sons of God, while the royal ministers claimed to be the reincarnations of various constellations. But can the stars reincarnate? Many people burn incense and kowtow, do good deeds and strive for virtues, not just for the present, but mainly to let God see their sincerity so as to be reborn into a better afterlife, or to achieve the highest enlightenment after several lives of practice. They do believe in afterlife. But I can't help asking: Suppose there were no afterlife, would you still do good deeds and strive for virtues? And If God does not see what you are doing, would you still be so upright and selfless? If you work, not for serving the public and liberating the others, but just for a better afterlife of your own, isn't it a little too selfish? Comparing with this kind of believers, those who don't believe in afterlife, but still keep doing good deeds, are the most sincere and honest philanthropists, because they do them not for themselves but for other. You may wonder if I believe in afterlife. My answer is: I know nothing about my previous life, so I dare not make improper comments on afterlife. But I do hope there's afterlife! Because our present life is so short that so many things slip away before our proper understanding. I have so many dreams, so many wishes, so many ambitions, as well as so many regrets and concerns. If there were no afterlife, all of them will remain unrealized! I'm not contented with the present commonplace life, I'm very much attached to the affections that should have been mine but have been washed away by the hurrying time, and I yearn for the perfection and maturity if I could start all over again. So believe it or not, I'd rather there were afterlife.。

中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文(通用30篇)中学生出色两分钟英语篇1Sometimes it takes things falling apart, for better things to fall into place. Sometimes it takes the most uncomfortable path, to lead your life to the most beautiful place. There's gonna be bad days, there's gonna be dark days, but you've gotta embrace it.Because that pain is what makes you stronger. Failure is what makes you stronger. You have to accept those down times, because once you realize those down times, are just as much part of life as anything else, you're able to strive again. You'll never see the purpose of the storm, until you see the growth it produced. You'll never understand why you went through what you went through, until you see the strength, the power, the resilience that it built inside of you. Ask yourself why.But this why is a better why, "Why am I doing this? Why am I failing? Why am I even getting myself in a situation where I could fail? Because I have a dream. Because I have goals."中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇2Let me say that again. The reason anyone gets depressed always comes down to the CONSISTENT thoughts we think, and the CONSISTENT beliefs we hold.If I believe I am fat, horrible, ugly and unworthy of love, I will most likely become depressed or have depression thoughts If my thought process is “I must be in a relationship and earn X amount to be happy” I might get depression if I don’t achieve those goals. The point here is that anyone that is depressed, is so, because there is an external factor that didn’t materialize in their life –i.e…. (They have lost something outside of the ir control, or don’t have something that is out of their control) the most common reasons for depression are : a lost a job, relationship break downs or non existence, body image, comparison to others. The only way out of this is to work on yourself, every day.In school we are taught how to get a job, but no one teaches us how to live in a state of happiness. No one teaches us how important our conscious and unconscious thoughts and associations are.Is our happiness not worth more than a job?Yes it is.And before you say, happiness won’t pay my bills –happiness WILL pay your bills, when you realize you will be 10 times more energized, focused and take positive action in your life, when you FIRST choose to develop yourself as a priority, and THEN get to all the “stuff” of the world.中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇3I want you to know that, no matter where you are in life… No matter how low you have sunk… No matter how bleak your situation… This is NOT THE END.This is not the end of your storyThis is not the final chapter of your life.I know it may be hard right nowBut if you just hang in thereStick it outStay with me for a little while…You will find, that this tough moment will pass, and, if you are committed to USING this pain, using it to build your character, finding a greater MEANING for the pain, you will find that, in time, you can turn your life around, and help others going through the same struggles.中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇4The world right now is in the middle of a mental health crisis. It’s estimated almost h alf the population suffers from depression at some stage throughout their life.Rather than join the cue, it’s important we it’s learn why we get down, and then how we can change it, because believe it or not, we create our own negative feelings and we can also ensure that we turn our lives around and be a positive change for others. The reason anyone gets depressed always comes down to the CONSISTENT thoughts we think, and the CONSISTENT beliefs we hold.中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇5the more you're thinking back to those original goals, the easier it is for you to get back up and say, "Alright, it might be difficult, it might be painful, it might be stressful, there might be no people that believe in me, but I believe in myself."You know it might have been the case that you should have gone through that harsh break up, that you should have gone through that heavy loss, just in order to find something even better. But the only way to get to that even better, is to get back up and work. To get back up and put yourself out there again. And arise from that again, stronger, better, smarter, ready to grasp that new opportunity. You gotta believe the tables in your life will turn. That pain will become power, that weakness will become strength, and thatconfusion will become peace. Better things are coming for your life.Everyday is a new beginning. It's time for you to start treating it that way.中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇6Let me conclude with this. I’m not going to moralize about to whom much is given, much is expected, because most of you have made of yourself much more than what you’ve been given. But now you are in a privileged position. You’re part of an exceptional generation and doors will open to you that will not open to others. My Yale Law School grad son graduated very well from Yale Law School. My other son out of loyalty to his deceased mother decided to go to Syracuse Law School from Penn. They're a year and a day apart in their age. The one who graduated from Yale had doors open to him, the lowest salary offered back in the early ‘90s was $50,000 more than a federal judge made. My other son, it was a struggle -- equally as bright, went on to be elected one of the youngest attorney generals in the history of the state of Delaware, the most popular public official in my state. Big headline after the 20xx election, “Biden Most Popular Man in Delaware -- Beau.” (Laughter.)And as your parents will understand, my dad’s definition of success is when you look at your son and daughter and realize they turned out better than you, and they did. But you’ll have opportunities. Make the most of them and follow your heart. You have the intellectual horsepower to make things better in the world around you. You’re also part of the most tolerant generation in history.I got roundly criticized because I could not remain quiet anymore about gay marriage. The one thing I was certain of is all of yourgeneration was way beyond that point. (Applause.)中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇7finally, when leaders wrap themselves in the flag, or the national anthem, and try to make you think that critics of your government don’t love and respect our country, real patriotism isn’t about honoring symbols. Real patriotism is about bringing truth to light, and when action is required, standing up and taking action. In other words, real patriotism is about taking pains. So if you remember nothing else from today, remember that phrase. Or, to make it even simpler, just remember: T-Pain.Graduates, as you leave this great university, I hope you will take the pains that are necessary to preserve and extend our democracy. Take pains to understand the other side. Take pains to expose lies. Take pains to reject scapegoating and xenophobia. Take pains not to fall for easy answers. And take pains to hold our leaders accountable for their words and their deeds. If you do that, I have no doubt that truth – and America – will prevail. And my generation will be able to say, as we pass the leadership torch to yours, the same words that Washington spoke with his last breath: ‘Tis well.So tonight, have one last drink, maybe at T’s, dance to your own beat or to the beat of Ninja Turtle Backpack Guy, and tomorrow, get to work. The world needs you more than ever.Congratulations, and good luck.中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇8All across America – at family gatherings, in social settings and workplaces, on college campuses, and certainly on social media, Americans are losing the ability to conduct civil and productive dialogue with those who hold different political views. And that has profound effect…profou nd implications for our ability to function as a society. After all, when you can’t talk with one another, you can’t understand one another. When we can’t understand one another, we can’t work together. When we can’t work together, we can’t do anything, at least not anything big and important. We face a lot of hard challenges in America today –from climate change to gun violence, to failing schools to the opioid epidemic, and on campuses, from the frightening trend towards racism, sexism, hatred, anti-Semitism and intolerance of unpopular views and opinions. To have any hope of overcoming these challenges, we have to start by reclaiming our civic dialogue from those who are debasing and degrading it –and preventing us from getting things done. All of you can help do that – no matter what your politics are and no matter what line of work you pursue later on. Maybe your passion is science or education, or the arts or education, or medicine or health care, or business. There is not a single issue that isn’t af fected by political debates. And there is not a single issue that isn’t threatened by the breakdown in our civic discourse.中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇9And then others will look to you, not with pity but with HOPE, because your strength will become their HOPE, their strength. You really can be that powerful. You can ditch the victim story, you can leave the pain behind and FOCUS on how you will react next. How you will react positively.Read. Read all you can read to get your mind in a positiveplace.Take steps to ensure you will be in a better position next time – whatever pain you are suffering –how can you ensure it won’t show again –Take little steps… and soon you will be at the top of the stair case.Don’t give upYou are worthyYou are more than worthy! You deserve to experience how great life can be – and you owe it to the world to be that positive change for others. T o inspire others – who will look to you and say – he did it, she did it, and I can do it too.Don't give up. You are worthy. You are MORE than worthy! 中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇10In all seriousness, the board back then made an inspiring decision to choose Washington. And anyone who thinks this school is in D.C. or near Seattle clearly hasn’t been paying attention. It seems fitting that an institution named for Washington has played such an important role in presidential elections in recent decades. WashU has hosted a number of nationally televised debates, including the last one you saw in 20xx.Hosting a presidential debate is an experience that few s chools or students get. But I can’t stand here and tell you it provided a great civics lesson. I wish I could.Instead of focusing on the critical issues facing the country, that debate was more about locker room talk and ‘lock her up.’ Lincoln-Douglas, I think it’s fair to say, it was not.And that brings me to the topic du jour. It would be easy to blame the candidates or the moderators for the poor quality ofthat debate. But the problem runs much deeper.中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇11In ancient Greece, these were called Sophists –and they would have loved Twitter and Facebook.Social media has given rise to a new golden age of sophistry –aided and abetted by blind partisanship. The only way to overcome it – the only way to lift our national discourse out of the gutter –is to heed Washington’s words and take pains to bring truth to light. Those pains are the burden of citizenship in a democracy. And a great education does not relieve them. It intensifies them. This is especially true, I believe, for graduates of a university bearing the name Washington.中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇12On the other hand, my other son, Hunter, who heads the World Food Program USA, graduated from Yale Law School. (Applause.) Now, he thought it’s a great idea. But then again, law graduates always think all of their ideas are great ideas. (Laughter.)By the way, I’ve had a lot of law graduates from Yale work for me. That's not too far from the truth. But anyway, look, the truth of the matter is that I have a lot of staff that are Yale graduates, several are with me today. They thought it was a great idea that I speak here.As a matter of fact, my former national security advisor, Jake Sullivan, who is teaching here at Yale Law School, trained in international relations at Yale College, edited the Yale Daily News, and graduated from Harvard -- excuse me, Freudian slip -- Yale Law School. (Laughter.) You’re lucky to have him. He’s a brilliant and decent and honorable man. And I miss him. And wemiss him as my national security advisor. But he’s not the only one. My deputy national security advisor, Jeff Prescott, started and ran the China Law Center at Yale Law School. My Middle East policy advisor and foreign policy speechwriter, Dan Benaim, who is with me, took Daily Themes -— got a B. (Laughter.) Now you know why I go off script so much. (Laughter and applause.)中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇13Now, look, I realize no one ever doubts I mean what I say, the problem occasionally is I say all that I mean. (Laughter.) I have a bad reputation for being straight. Sometimes an inappropriate times. (Laughter.) So here it goes. Let’s get a couple things straight right off the bat: Corvettes are better than Porsches; they're quicker and they corner as well. (Laughter and applause.) And sorry, guys, a cappella is not better than rock and roll. (Laughter and applause.) And your pundits are better than Washington pundits, although I’ve noticed neither has any shame at all. (Laughter and applause.) And all roads lead to Toads? Give me a break. (Laughter and applause.) You ever tried it on Monday night? (Laughter.) Look, it’s tough to end a great men’s basketball and football season. One touchdown away from beating Harvard this year for the first time since 20xx -— so close to something you’ve wanted for eight years. I can only imagine how you feel. (Laughter.) I can only imagine. (Applause.) So close. So close. But I got to be honest with you, when the invitation came, I was flattered, but it caused a little bit of a problem in my extended family. It forced me to face some hard truths. My son, Beau, the attorney general of Delaware, my daughter, Ashley Biden, runs a nonprofit for criminal justice in the state, they bothwent to Penn. My two nieces graduated from Harvard, one an all-American. All of them think my being here was a very bad idea. (Laughter.)中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇14It means you’re willing to look foolish, you’re willing to run the risk of looking foolish in the service of what matters to you. And if you remember that, because some of the things your heart will tell you to do, will make you among your peers look foolish, or not smart, or not sophisticated. But we’ll all be better for people of your consequence to do it.That’s what I want you to most remember. Not who spoke at the day you all assembled on this mall. You’re a remarkable class. I sure don't remember who the hell was my commencement speaker. (Laughter.) I know this is not officially commencement. But ask your parents when you leave here, who spoke at your commencement? It’s a commencement speaker aversion of a co mmencement speaker’s fate to be forgotten. The question is only how quickly. But you’re the best in your generation. And that is not hyperbole. And you're part of a remarkable generation.中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇15I’m so happy to be here on your day and all of y our day. It’s good to know there’s one Yalie who is happy I’m being here -- be here, at least one. (Laughter.) On “Overheard at Yale,” on the Facebook page, one student reported another student saying: I had a dream that I was Vice President and was with the President, and we did the disco funk dance to convince the Congress to restart the government. (Laughter.)Another student commented, Y’all know Biden would be hilarious, get funky. (Laughter.)Well, my granddaughter, Finnegan Biden, whose dad went here, is with me today. When she saw that on the speech, I was on the plane, Air Force Two coming up, she said, Pop, it would take a lot more than you and the President doing the disco funk dance. The Tea Party doesn't even know what it is. (Laughter.) Look, I don't know about that. But I’m just glad there’s someone -- just someone -- who dreams of being Vice President. (Laughter and applause.) Just somebody. I never had that dream. (Laughter.) For the press out there, that's a joke.中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇16You have earned the endorsement of those who have come before you and we expect that you will honor the legacy of improving the world by your contributions in [the] years to come. And while it may not be easy to determine your passion or decipher your purpose, we will always be here to support you as you navigate this experience we call ‘life’.We will always be here not just to tell you, but to show you that the only way around adversity isn not around it at all; it is straight through it.So, expect adversity – expect adversity, excuse me. It will teach you the same thing my mother taught me…that no morth and prosper!”atter how bad you feel, that even at your lowest point, you got this.Because Dukies…Dukies hear clearly, graduates, Dukies are like titanium. And in the final analysis, we are “forever Duke”.中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇17There’s no silver bu llet, no single formula, no reductive list. But they all seem to understand that happiness and success result from an accumulation of thousands of little things built on character, all of which have certain common features in my observation.First, the mos t successful and happiest people I’ve known understand that a good life at its core is about being personal. It’s about being engaged. It’s about being there for a friend or a colleague when they're injured or in an accident, remembering the birthdays, congratulating them on their marriage, celebrating the birth of their child. It’s about being available to them when they're going through personal loss. It’s about loving someone more than yourself, as one of your speakers have already mentioned. It all seems to get down to being personal. That's the stuff that fosters relationships. It’s the only way to breed trust in everything you do in your life.Let me give you an example. After only four months in the United States Senate, as a 30-year-old kid, I was walking through the Senate floor to go to a meeting with Majority Leader Mike Mansfield. And I witnessed another newly elected senator, the extremely conservative Jesse Helms, excoriating Ted Kennedy and Bob Dole for promoting the precursor of the Americans with Disabilities Act. But I had to see the Leader, so I kept walking.中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇18I felt like a fool. He then went on to say, Joe, it’s always appropriate to question another man’s judgment, but never appropriate to question his motives because you simply don't know his motives. It happened early in my career fortunately. From that moment on, I tried to look past the caricatures of my colleagues and try to see the whole person. Never once have I questionedanother man’s or woman’s motive. And somet hing started to change. If you notice, every time there’s a crisis in the Congress the last eight years, I get sent to the Hill to deal with it. It’s because every one of those men and women up there -- whether they like me or not -- know that I don't judge them for what I think they're thinking.Because when you question a man’s motive, when you say they're acting out of greed, they're in the pocket of an interest group, et cetera, it’s awful hard to reach consensus. It’s awful hard having to reach across the table and shake hands. No matter how bitterly you disagree, though, it is always possible if you question judgment and not motive.Senator Helms and I continued to have profound political differences, but early on we both became the most powerful members of the Senate running the Foreign Relations Committee, as Chairmen and Ranking Members. But something happened, the mutual defensiveness began to dissipate. And as a result, we began to be able to work together in the interests of the country. And as Chairman and Ranking Member, we passed some of the most significant legislation passed in the last 40 years.中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇19The second thing I’ve noticed is that although you know no one is better than you, every other persons is equal to you and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.I’ve worked with eight Presidents, hundreds of Senators. I’ve met every major world leader literally in the last 40 years. And I’ve had scores of talented people work for me. And here’s what I’ve observed: Regardl ess of their academic or social backgrounds, those who had the most success and who were most respected and therefore able to get the most done werethe ones who never confused academic credentials and societal sophistication with gravitas and judgment.Do n’t forget about what doesn’t come from this prestigious diploma -- the heart to know what’s meaningful and what’s ephemeral; and the head to know the difference between knowledge and judgment. But even if you get these things right, I’ve observed that most people who are successful and happy remembered a third thing: Reality has a way of intruding.I got elected in a very improbable year. Richard Nixon won my state overwhelmingly. George McGovern was at the top of the ticket. I got elected as the second-youngest man in the history of the United States to be elected, the stuff that provides and fuels raw ambition. And if you’re not careful, it fuels a sense of inevitability that seeps in. But be careful. Things can change in a heartbeat. I know. And so do many of your parents.Six weeks after my election, my whole world was altered forever. While I was in Washington hiring staff, I got a phone call. My wife and three children were Christmas shopping, a tractor trailer broadsided them and killed my wife and killed my daughter. And they weren’t sure that my sons would live. Many people have gone through things like that. But because I had the incredible good fortune of an extended family, grounded in love and loyalty, imbued with a sense of obligation imparted to each of us, I not only got help. But by focusing on my sons, I found my redemption.中学生出色两分钟英语演讲稿范文篇20ou know what I do have: two hands and two feet. "i went over, gave him a kion the cheek, said, goodnight, beautiful. with that he sat up all night watching me." 两分钟英语演讲稿2Good morning ladies and gentlemen:The title of my speech today is “The Doors that Are Open to Us ”.The other day my aunt paid me a visit. She was overjoyed. “I got the highest mark in the mid-term examination!” she said. Dont be surprised! My aunt is indeed a student; to be exact, a college student at the age of 45.Last year, she put aside her private business and signed up for a one-year, full-time management course in a college. “This was the wisest decision I have ever made,” she said proudly like a teenage girl. T o her, college is always a right place to pick up new ideas, and new ideas always make her feel young.“Compared with the late 70s,” she says, “now college students have many doors.” My aunt cannot help but recall her first college experience in 1978 when college doors began to be re-opened after the Cultural Revolution. She was assigned to study engineering despite her desire to study Chinese literature, and a few years later, the government sent her to work in a TV factory.I was shocked when she first told me how she (had) had no choice in her major and job. Look at us today! So many doors are open to us! I believe there have never been such abundant opportunities for self-development as we have today. And my aunt told me that we should reach our goals by grasping all these opportunities.两分钟英语演讲稿3Mark Twin once said:"in nineteenth Century two people, one is Napoleon, one is Helen Keller." Starting on, I dare not say we are the children in the city how much stronger than they, perhaps we might as well be "wild child" of these in our eyes, because only a person lost will be more know to cherish, coloured drawing or pattern is more seriously in the face of everything. For us, after the third day of the examination is a barrier, is very important for us is very serious thing, can take an examination of to a good high school? Can have a good high school life? This is now all doubt there are many people around us, but a loser, is can't afford to defeat the loser, perhaps is a failure, let their cold hearts, they can't make a loss. Maybe they had tried, regret, but too late, discarded after don't come back, actually everybody's strength is similar, just lack of effort and confidence, believe your own power, lost nothing, but can't afford to lose momentum, even if the failure of the end let you stand up, not lying to life, there is at least a fighting, later remembered wouldn't be so sorry, so timid, do not regret it, is belongs to ouryouth, because when let our master, come on, perhaps, victory come from英语演讲两分钟篇2Dear every leader, teachers:Everybody is good! The title of my speech today is "let's read together!" .Books are the fruits of human civilization; The book is a treasure trove of knowledge storage; Books are the ladder of human progress; Book is the nourishment of the world. Life without books, as if the earth without sunshine. Wisdom without books, like a bird without wings. As long as we are willing to study, you can learn from the essence of human wisdom of several thousand years. Newton loved reading, China's total education network documentation channel in the research on the basis of predecessors' work, he discovered the law of universal gravitation, and thus to become a great scientist. Just think, if no books spread predecessors accumulated knowledge, in today's era, will also have a satellite and spacecraft in space? ! Also there will be a wonderful network computer? "Read five drum is not of the night, work is YiBaoShiHan." Friends, let's look at the eyes to read books, in books, in the book is a guide, make a wisp of fragrance with you me! Let's study together!英语演讲两分钟篇3Everybody is good, the title of my speech today is "reading and life".As is known to all, the book is the ladder of human progress. Books in our life play a very important role. The main reason why It is important, because it always exists in our side, is around us, and everyone is learning knowledge, using knowledge. But some people don't know what reading is to. I think one of the benefits of reading is to adjust state of mind. No matter how we met in living like earlier, can keep a peaceful and calm state of mind and be well prepared to face it. Happily, don't get carried away. When frustrated, don't be too sad, if can't avoid sad, think a way to unblock. Gorky said: the book made me become a happy person. Free time, we might as well read books too. Through reading, we have understood the book love, feel the truth; We know from the book to the history of change, social change. We learn from the book in thinking, put forward valuable questions, learn to grow up.Century old man bing xin said: good reading, good read, read good books. It is an axiom. Reading a good book.Time went by, constantly reading but let us growth knowledge. Don't you want to gain knowledge? If you like, please pick up the book of our life is meaningful, into the book world, swim in the sea of knowledge, it will make you full of ideas, full of wisdom, and, in turn, change your fate, change your life, more let's get back to the truly belong to our self-confidence! Thank you for your speech!英语演讲两分钟篇4a common concept among some people is that opportunities are few. they always complain that opportunities never occur to them. they only admire those people who make a hit or succeed by seizing some opportunities, and always wonder why they are never given a good opportunity to show their talent.another common notion is that there are opportunities everywhere. opportunity may occur to anybody at any time and under any circumstances as long as he/she keeps ma-ki-ng constant efforts. as a student, you can get to the top through your hard work. as a businessman, you can succeed through accurate calculation and with a complete certainty that you can make a profit.in my opinion, opportunity favors only those who keep trying and who are ready for it. as the saying goes "god helps those who help themselves", so no matter whether there's opportunity or not, what we should do is to study, to learn and become learned people, only in this way can you seize your opportunity when it occurs. so never say there's no opportunity again, opportunities are around us.英语演讲两分钟篇5after spending most of his life alone and losing his only companion who is a young cuban boy, the old man heads out to sea once again.his 84 days without a notable catch end on this trip, but will he be able to defeat the odds after catching a gigantic marlin?this short novel is universal in its consideration of the plight of an old man struggling against age, loneliness, mortality, humility and poverty to maintain his identity and dignity. apart from that, the cheerful and optimistic old man wants to reestablish his reputation in the community. besides, he also wants to ensure for all time his relationship with those he loves and to whom he hopes to paon everything he values the most. finally, he survives and wins the battle. this has shown his heroic struggle not only redeems himself but also inspires and spiritually enriches those around him.英语演讲两分钟篇6president clinton, senator clinton, president carter and mrs. carter, president bush and mother governor and mrs. huckabee, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen: laura and i are really pleased to be a part of this happy and historic occasion. on this day of dedication, we honor the man from hope, arkansas, who became the 42nd president of the united states. mr. president, congratulations.this presidential library chronicles a vivid era in american history, for the benefit of future generations. it will contribute to the vitality of this fine city and to the great state of arkansas. the collections here record the dedication and hard work of thousands, who brought talent and idealism to public service. and at the center of that era, at the head of that administration, was an able and energetic american. president bill clinton led our country with optimism and a great affection for the american people, and that affection has been returned. he gave all to his job, and the nation gave him two terms.英语演讲两分钟篇7Dear teachers, dear students, hello everyone! In our real life, everyone will have a successful experience, there are also encountered the bitter failure, success, a brilliant smile on his face; Encountered setbacks, some defeat, have a plenty of efforts to forge ahead, to meet difficulties. For our students, how should we face the success and failure of study and life? This leads to the theme I want to talk about today - " victory is not arrogant defeat not lose heart". The ancients once said, " the winner is not proud, the loser is not discouraged. " speak is this truth, when you after their own efforts to succeed, must notbe complacent, proud of the world, defiant, but should summarize the successful experience, make persistent efforts, to higher and better goals and strive for; When you encounter setbacks and failures, never lose heart, broken pot broken fall, but should carefully check what you do, to find out the reason, constantly sum up, will be from a failure to success. Failure is not terrible, terrible is that we can't realize their own shortcomings. We often say that " failure is the mother of success", is on the road to success, failure is sometimes inevitable, the great inventor Edison is not after countless failures to success? After countless failures - success, in failure in success, finally invented the electric light. Edison is such, the Athens Olympic champion Liu Xiang is the same, he is also after countless failures to achieve such a remarkable record, achieved the Asian sprint gold medal zero breakthrough, for the Chinese people for the light, also for the Asian people for the light! But to learn from failure, learn from successful people, from the psychological understanding of failure is temporary, as long as you can adjust the state of mind, find out the problem, in addition to their hard work, you will be able to achieve their satisfactory results. We have just had the mid-term exam, because each student's foundation is not the same, some students through their own efforts to achieve excellent results, and some students feel their grades are not ideal, did not reach their goals. So there are two kinds of mentality of students. Good examination with the society rejoiced, but not proud, but also to continue to move forward; Test temporarily irrational students don't pessimistic disappointment, leak to fill a vacancy, will eventually achieve excellent results. What I want to tell you is that the test is just a means of testing, through which you reflect the degree ofknowledge you have learned since the beginning of the school, the level of scores can only represent the past, not represent the future. As long as you can analyze the reasons for your failure from the exam, summed up their shortcomings, I believe that in the future test you will be in the top.thank you.英语演讲两分钟篇8Have A DreamI say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, still have a dream. Even if you place a dozen fist-sized rocks and a bucket of gravel into the jar, there is still space for sand and water between the rocks and gravel. The lack of time is just the excuse for my negligence of every single minute. The point is I have never touched upon the real meaning of life which lies in snatching, seizing and enjoying every minute of it. No idleness, no delay, no procrastination, no complaint! It is during my moments of complaining or hesitation that my destiny is shaped. Once I make full use of every moment, I believe that, my worries will be gradually cut down to nothing.Time is the most valuable of all our possessions, but the most perishable as well. 四年级英语精彩两分钟故事范文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Magical Secret PathIt was a sunny Saturday morning and I was feeling bored out of my mind. My little brother was annoying me by running around the house making explosion noises. My older sister was blasting pop music from her room at full volume. Mom and Dad were outside working in the garden."I'm so bored!" I groaned out loud. Suddenly, I heard a strange tapping sound coming from my bedroom window. I walked over and saw a brilliant blue bird pecking at the glass! As soon as I opened the window, the bird flew inside and landed on my desk."Hey there little guy, you probably shouldn't be in here," I said reaching to shoo it back outside. But then the bird spoke!"Don't send me away!" it said in a high-pitched voice. "I've been waiting for you. You're the one who can help break the curse on our kingdom!"My jaw dropped open. A talking bird? This had to be a dream. I pinched myself but I didn't wake up.The bird continued, "My name is Zephyr and I'm from a magical realm called Avialron. Our world is hidden from the eyes of humans, only accessible through a secret path. An evil sorcerer has cast a spell freezing everything in Avialron. Plants, rivers, even us birds - we're all stuck, unmoving like statues. You're our only hope to break the curse!"I listened in disbelief as Zephyr explained that once every thousand years, a gateway opened to allow a human child with a pure heart into Avialron to save them. Apparently, I was that chosen one!"Come with me, we don't have much time!" Zephyr flew out the window and I quickly followed, half wondering if I was dreaming this up. We went around the side of my house to the gate in our backyard fence. Zephyr hovered in front of it."This gate is the secret path," he said. "Walk through and repeat after me: 'Avialron, realm of magic, let this child answer your call!'"I took a deep breath and stepped through the gate. "Avialron, realm of magic, let this child answer your call!"The world around me dissolved into a swirl of colors. The air grew warm and humid with the scent of flowers. When it cleared, I found myself standing in the most beautiful place I had ever seen. Lush green fields rolled out ahead of me, filled with every type of flower imaginable. A sparkling river wound through it all, reflecting the bright blue sky. Hovering all around were hundreds of multicolored birds."Welcome to Avialron!" Zephyr cried. He and the other birds began singing joyfully. But then I noticed they were completely still, like Zephyr said - frozen in place by the curse."Over there is the castle of the evil sorcerer Karstinen who trapped us like this," Zephyr pointed with his beak. A dark, menacing tower loomed in the distance. "You'll need to defeat him to break the spell. Come, I'll show you the way!"Zephyr flew ahead with me running after him. We passed frozen waterfalls, stopped birds in midair, rivers defying gravity as the curse held them suspended. It was eerie yet breathtakingly beautiful. Finally we reached the castle gates. Two enormous stone bird statues guarded the entrance, swords crossed over the doorway."This is as far as I can go," said Zephyr. "The curse prevents me from getting any closer. You'll have to go alone from here. Find Karstinen and make him reverse the spell. You can do it!""But how?" I asked feeling very small and unprepared.Zephyr smiled his birdy smile. "Just have faith in your pure heart. That's the strongest magic of all!"I took a few calming breaths, said a quick prayer, and pushed open the gates. Inside was a dim, dank hallway leading deeper under the castle. Torches burned in wall brackets, casting flickering shadows. At the end of the hall was a heavy wooden door.My heart was pounding in my ears as I carefully pulled it open. Behind the door was a vast cavern with a high, vaulted ceiling supported by thick pillars. In the center, illuminated by shafts of light from above, stood a wizened old man in ragged black robes. A crooked staff was clutched in one gnarled hand."Who dares enter my domain?" he cried in a voice that shook the walls.I tried to make my voice sound brave and confident. "I am the one who will break your curse, Karstinen! Let Avialron go!"The sorcerer cackled loudly, the sound echoing all around. "A mere child? You cannot defeat me, no matter what that blasted bluebird promised. But I will show you!"Karstinen raised his staff and a bolt of red lightning shot out, headed straight for me! I leapt out of the way just in time as it blasted a crater into the stone floor."Your turn, child!" he sneered menacingly. "Let's see what magic you possess."篇2A Surprising DiscoveryHi everyone! Today for my two minute speech, I want to tell you all about something crazy that happened to me and my best friend James last summer. Now, I know what you might be thinking - "Didn't he just say that in his intro?" Well, yeah, I did. But I'm getting ahead of myself here.Let me start from the beginning. It was a super hot day in late July, and James and I were really bored. We had already played tons of video games, ridden our bikes all around the neighborhood, and even tried skipping rocks at the creek by his house. Nothing was really doing it for us that day though."Man, I wish something exciting would happen," I remember saying as we plunked down on the curb in front of my house. James just nodded in agreement, lookingas bored as I felt. That's when we noticed my elderly neighbor, Mrs. Patterson, walking out to her car carrying some boxes. She kept dropping them and looking really frustrated. Being the good kids that we are, we decided to go over and offer her some help."Why thanks, boys!" she said once we ran over. "I'm just trying to get these old boxes out to the curb for the garbage truck, but they're quite heavy."We each grabbed a couple boxes and easily carried them over to the curb for her. As I was setting one box down though, the flaps came open and a bunch of old books and papers spilled out onto the ground."Oh dear!" Mrs. Patterson exclaimed. "I'm so sorry about that mess.""No worries, we got it!" James and I said, quickly gathering up the scattered stuff. As I was repacking that box though, something caught my eye. It was some kind of old, tattered map or diagram. I couldn't quite make out what it was at first, but I knew we had to take a closer look.Once we had Mrs. Patterson's boxes all sorted out and back in her car, James and I took the weird old map and hurried back to my room to examine it. That's when things started to get really interesting."Dude, I think this is some kind of treasure map!" James gasped after we spread it out on my bedroom floor.I looked at it again and saw that he was right - it was super old and had a bunch of crazy scribbles and markings all over it, like a classic treasure map from a pirate movie. There were notes about "burying the loot" and stuff like that too. Could it be real?"But how could Mrs. Patterson have a real treasure map?" I wondered out loud. "She's just a sweet little old lady!"James just shrugged. "Who knows? Maybe it's a family heirloom or something. We have to try and figure this thing out!"And that's exactly what we did for the next few weeks. We spent practically every waking hour studying that crazy map, trying to decipher the clues and symbols to see where this supposed "buried treasure" could be. We looked at so many possibilities - maybe it was buried somewhere in the woods by James' house, or even under the baseball field at school? Finally, after a ton of work, we made a shocking realization while examining the map one day. All the landmarks and markers seemed to be pointing to...my backyard! No way, it couldn't be.Nevertheless, you'd better believe that next afternoon James and I were out there with shovels, digging hole after hole searching for this mystery treasure. Our parents probably thought we'd gone totally crazy. But we didn't care - we were on the trail of something huge! Then, just when I thought we might have to give up, my shovel struck something hard a few feet down. I could hardly breathe as James and I dug around it to pull it out. And there it was - a small, weathered wooden chest bound in metal! We had actually found buried treasure in my own backyard. With hands shaking in excitement and disbelief, we opened up the chest to see what was inside. We both gasped when we saw that it was filled with old gold coins, jewels, and other valuables. I couldn't believe my eyes.Just then, we heard a voice from behind us. "Well, I see you boys have found my treasure after all!"It was Mrs. Patterson, standing there with a huge smile on her face! As it turned out, she hadn't just randomly had an oldtreasure map - decades earlier, her grandfather had actually been a pirate who sailed all around the Caribbean! Before he passed away, he gave her that map and made her promise to bury his final chest of loot somewhere safe, to remind her of all his adventures on the high seas.Needless to say, James and I were totally blown away by the whole story. And Mrs. Patterson was so thrilled that we had rediscovered her grandfather's long-lost treasure after all these years. She even let us have a few coins as a reward for our hard work!So there you have it - one totally unbelievable, crazy summer adventure that I'll never forget. Just goesCN shows you never know what kinds of surprises could be waiting篇3The Magical Music BoxIt was a cold, rainy Saturday morning and I was stuck inside with nothing to do. Mom and Dad were busy cleaning the house and my little sister Lily was napping. I flopped down on the couch, feeling bored out of my mind. That's when I noticed a strange box sitting on the shelf. It was a little wooden box with fancy carvings all over it. I had neverseen it before. Curiosity got the better of me and I got up to take a closer look. The box had a little wind-up key on the side. I gave it a few turns and wonderful music started playing! It was the most beautiful melody I had ever heard. Notes seemed to dance through the air, swirling in kaleidoscope patterns of sound. I closed my eyes and let the music wash over me.When I opened them again, I couldn't believe my eyes. Everything around me had changed! The couch was gone, replaced by a vibrant meadow covered in wildflowers. Trees with twisting branches stretched up towards a brilliantly blue sky. A babbling brook ran alongside the meadow. It was like something out of a storybook.I pinched myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming. The music box was still in my hands, its delicate tune continuing to play. Where in the world was I? This was too strange to be real!Suddenly, I heard a strange buzzing sound behind me. I spun around to see the largest bumblebee I had ever seen hovering in the air. But as I looked closer, its body wasn't furry like a normal bee. It almost looked like...metal?"Greetings, young one!" the metal bee said in a robotic voice. "Welcome to the Realm of Melody!"I rubbed my eyes in disbelief. "A talking robot bee? This has to be a dream."The bee bobbed up and down. "Oh, it's quite real, I can assure you. You have been transported to our musical realm by playing that enchanted music box.""But how is that possible?" I asked, still having trouble believing what I was seeing and hearing."The music box is a powerful relic," the bee explained. "When its wonderful melodies are played, it opens a portal to our world - a realm where music comes alive and takes on magical form."As if on cue, more strange creatures began to appear - birds with wings like wind chimes, rabbits with bodies made of intertwined brass tubes, and butterflies with gossamer wings that shimmered with sound waves."Whoaa..." was all I could say, completely awestruck by the incredible sights and sounds surrounding me.The bee hovered closer. "You have a gift, my friend. The music box only reveals itself to those with a great appreciationand love for music in their hearts. It seems the realm has chosen you as its latest guest!"I could scarcely believe what I was hearing. "You mean...I can go on adventures through this amazing world? Exploring lands made of actual music?"The bee bobbed its head up and down eagerly. "Indeed! The realms of Melody are vast and wondrous. Shall I give you the grand tour?"And just like that, I was swept away on the most incredible journey. The bee was an enthusiastic guide, showing me sights and experiences that defied。

两分钟简短英语演讲(精选5篇)两分钟简短英语演讲篇1I can never forget the summer in 1996. I went through an extremity of despair due to my failure in the National College Entrance Examination. It seemed that my dream of being a university student would never come true. One evening my father came and told me the story of Steven Callahan, who was crossing the Atlantic alone in his sailboat when it struck something and sank. It was a miracle that he survived and was found 76 days later(the longest anyone has survived a shipwreck on a life raft alone). Later in his narrative he wrote these sentences “I tell myself I can handle it .Compared to what others have been through I’m fortunate”.Hearing these sentences I felt something important struck me. I belived my life would mot be that bad and it was proved to be true. Later during my study in the university I always told myself “I can handle it” when my own goals seemed far off or when my problems seemed too overwhelming and every time I said it ,I always came back to my senses., I will tell the same story of Callahan to them. I just want to make them believe they can handle their difficulties because their circumstances are only bad compared to something better. But others have been through much worse. Then they will build up fortitude. So here, coming to us from the extreme edge of survival, are words that can give us strength. Whatever you’re going through, tell yourself you can handle it. Compared to what others have been through, you’re fortunate. T ell this to yourself over and over, and it will help you get through the rough spots with littlemore fortitude.两分钟简短英语演讲篇2As two men were about to be sent into prison, the warden let each of them make a demand. The American loved smoking, so he wanted three boxes of cigars; while the Jew said all he needed was a telephone to contact with people outside of the prison. Two years later, the first out was the American who still had many cigars in his hands and pockets b ut was crying: “Give me some matches!” Then the Jew walked out, he shook hands with the warden and said: “Thank you for the phone, it made my business increase by 200%.”What do you think of this story? Life today is what you’ve decided years ago, and so is the future: your decisions today will affect your destiny years later. Now I have two things to choose from: to go abroad, to find myself a decent job after graduation or to further my study as a postgraduate. I haven’t worked out an answer to this question yet, but I know that whatever I do will directly affect my future. An Indian once said life is just like a game of cards, the cards in your hand represent opportunities, while the way you play decides the result you’ll get. Looking back in history, dur ing World War Ⅱ, Churchill who led the British people resolved to expect “blood, toil, tears and sweat”. They won the victory then. Today Shenzhou 5 took the first Chinese astronaut into space. I am sure that later there’ll be more spacecrafts, like Shenzh ou 6,7 and 8 ……So what does the future look like? No one can tell. But I know the choice is yours, the future is now. Make good use of everyday, a man can achieve greater successes, a country can gain prosperity and the whole world can be united, as it has neverbeen before.两分钟简短英语演讲篇3Hello, Dear teachers and fellow students. It is my honor to be here on this beautiful Friday morning to share with you my view on “Me- time”.In my opinion, finding me-time is important. With the development of the modern society, we students in China have more and more pressure. We have to spare every minute to study very hard and join various kinds of out-of-class training courses to improve ourselves. So we are really in lack of me-time which is helpful to keep ourselves from being over-stressed、tired and worried.I do not have as much fun as before and I always miss my childhood. Three hours of homework and two piano lessons one day make me have hardly any me-time to relax myself. I was once an active basketball player on my school team. But now, basketball, my best friend, I haven’t touched it for almost two months. Me- time seems to have become a luxury.Last week, when I heard there was going to be a basketball match between our school and No 1 Middle School, I was so excited that I rushed home and told my parents the news. I asked my father, “ Dad, may I play basketball after school ? The coach says I am the best guard in our school. If I join the school basketball team, we are sure to beat No 1 Middle School this time.” My father showed his dispproval and said, “ Of course you can’t . I’m disappointed at you. Why do you have such a silly idea? Don’t forget to work hard on your schoolwork and piano lessons.” In my parents’ points of view, playing basketball is a waste of time.As far as I’m concerned, the school assignment to the juniorschool students is too heavy. To grow into healthy and well-rounded adults, we should be allowed to have more me-time for relaxation. The pressure put on our students by excessive schoolwork can cause serious stress, which is unhealthy physically and mentally. My dear teachers, I hope you can assign less homework so we students can enjoy a period of me-time. My dear parents, would you please not follow me and remind me of study all the time? Please trust me that I will do my best. My dear friends, why not stop for a while from your heavy homework and do anything you like? It’s me-time. I do think, that a reduction of the current heavy load would be beneficial to us students and to the society as a whole. Finding me-time will make our life rich, colorful and rewarding.Thank you for your attention!Finding me time is importantHello, my dear friends, it is my great honor to be here and give a speech. Today I want to talk about the importance of finding *me time*.May I begin my speech by asking you a question? Do you often feel tired, stressed or worried? If you do have these problems, you are lack of me-time to relax yourself. Psychologist tell us that stress is caused by too much work or study , heavy responsibilities , and quickened pace of life . In my point of view, if you want to have a healthy mind and body, having your own me-time is very important.Let me take myself as an example. I was a carefree and outgoing girl before I entered the junior high school. I had much me-time and did anything I like after class. I kept a lovely pet and whenever I have time I played with her happily. However, thesituation is quite different now. When I want to turn on the TV、surf on the internet or go out shopping with my friends, my parents always look at me seriously and say “ Don’t forget to spend more time on your lessons. If you don’t cherish every minute of your time, other students will catch up with you.”So, every day, every moment, I am overwhelmed by all kinds of assignments. I become more and more silent and can’t sl eep well before the exams because I’m dressed and worried about my results. I feel so tired and how I want to have me time to relax myself. I long for a period of time that I could walk in a small path in the countryside, sing my favourite song and smell the essence of nature. My dear friends, having your own me-time is important. I firmly believe that achievements depend on our health. If we want to have a more harmonious state to work better, we should find more *me time* and keep off the overwhelm stresses. Talks, jokes, games, fresh air or beautiful scenes will be helpful for you. Trust me, you’ll be more refreshable and energetic.两分钟简短英语演讲篇4most people would like to be popular with others, but not everyone can achieve this goal. what is the secret to popularity?in fact,it is very simple. the first step is to improve our appearance. we should always make sure that we stay in good shape and dress well. when we are healthy and well-groomed,we will not only look better but also feel better. in addition, we should smile and appear friendly. after all, our facial expression is an important part of our appearance. if we can do this, people will be attracted to our good looks and impressed by our confidence.another important step is developing more consideration forothers. we should always put others first and place their interests before our own. it's also important to be good listeners; in this way people will feel comfortable enough to confide in us. however, no matter what we do, we must not gossip. above all, we must remember to be ourselves, not phonies. only by being sincere and respectful of others can we earn their respect. if we can do all of the above, i am sure popularity will come our way.两分钟简短英语演讲篇5as everyone knows, english is very important has been used everywhere in the has become the most common language on internet and for international trade. if we can speak english well,we will have more chance to use more and more people have taken notice of it,the number of the people who go to learn english has increased at a high speed.but for myself,i learn english not only because of its importance and its usefulness, but also because of my love for i learn english, i can feel a different way of thinking which gives me more room to touch the i read english novels,i can feel the pleasure from the book which is different from reading the i speak english, i can feel the confident from my i write english,i can see the beauty which is not the same as our chinese...i love english,it gives me a colorful dream.i hope i can travel around the world one day. with my good english, i can make friends with many people from different contries.i can see many places of great interests.i dream that i can go to london, because it is the birth place of english.i also want to use my good english to introduce our great places to the english spoken people,i hope that they can love our country like us.i know, rome was not built in a day. i believe that after continuous hard study, one day i can speak english very well.if you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. so i believe as i love english everyday , it will love me too.i am sure that i will realize my dream one day!thank you!。

英语演讲稿2分钟(精选19篇)英语2分钟篇1and see no end to the landscape, new objects presenting themselves as we advance; so, in the commencement of life, we set no bounds to our inclinations. nor to the unrestricted opportunities of gratifying them. we have as yet found no obstacle, no disposition to flag; and it seems that we can go on so forever. we look round in a new world, full of life, and motion, and ceaseleprogress; and feel in ourselves all the vigor and spirit to keep pace with it, and do not foresee from any present symptoms how we shall be left behind in the natural course of things, decline into old age, and drop into the grave. it is the simplicity, and as it were abstractedneof our feelings in youth, that (so to speak) identifies us with nature, and (our experience being slight and our passions strong) deludes us into a belief of being immortal like it. our short-lives connection with existence we fondly flatter ourselves, is an indissoluble and lasting union-a honeymoon that knows neither coldness, jar, nor separation. as infants smile and sleep, we are rocked in the cradle of our wayward fancies, and lulled into security by the roar of the universe around us0we quaff the cup of life with eager haste without draining it, instead of which it only overflows the more-objects prearound us, filling the mind with their magnitude and with the strong of desires that wait upon them, so that we have no room for the thoughts of death.英语演讲稿2分钟篇2In the world, I am sure that no one dare say he hasn't met any trouble allhis life. So we must face failure. In fact, failure is not fearful, butimportant thing is how to face it correctly. Facingfailure, people will nevertake their fate lying down. They will try their best to work harder and harderuntil at last they succeed. Not being courageous to face setbacks, people have no chance to enjoy thepleasure of success. So they have nothing to do but feel sad and empty all dayand all night. In fact, they lose the chance of success themselves. My friend, whenever in trouble, please remember, “Failure is the mother ofsuccess.”Twists and turns in life are unavoidable and are not always bad. We shouldhave a more optimistic view on life and try to make the most of it and drawlessons from the bumps and turns along the way.If there is any single factor that makes for success in living, it is theability to profit by defeat. Every success I know has been achieved because theperson was able to analyze defeat and actually profit by it in his nextundertaking. Confuse defeat with failure, and you are doomed indeed to failure. For it isn't defeat that makes you fail: it is your own refusal to see in defeatthe guide and encouragement to success. Defeats are nothing to be ashamed of.They are routine incidents in the life of every man who achieves success. Butdefeat is a dead loss unless you do face it without humiliation, analyze it andlearn why you failed.Defeat, in other words, can help to cure its own cause. Not only doesdefeat prepare us for success, but nothing can arouse within us such acompelling desire to succeed. If you let a baby grasp a rod and try to pull itaway, he will cling more and more tightly until his whole weight is suspended. It is this same reaction which should give you new and greater strength everytime you are defeated. If you exploit the power which defeat gives, you canaccomplish with it far more than you are capable of.英语演讲稿2分钟篇3good morning, ladies and gentlemen. i’d like to share my teaching dream with you. but before that, i want to say something about the beginning of this dream. in march this year, three teachers from australia came to our school. during the meeting, we exchanged a lot about education. i found that though we have almost the same teaching philosophy, we have different routines. what impressed me most was that their schools end at 3:00 in the afternoon and have no night classes. i can’t tell which kind of routine is better, but the sharp contrast made me think about a better education. the following is a dreamy school in my mind, in which there is no pressure but pleasure.in this school, the buildings are well designed, close to nature. in the morning, children can read while enjoying the beautiful sunrise. in the evening, they can exercise by the lake reflecting the amazing sunset. in the spring, they can go to the wild, lie on the lawn, and watch the kite flying in the blue sky. in the summer, they can go to the forest, live in a cabin, and listen to the rhythm of the rain. …students are free but polite and they respect each other. they can leave at 4:00 every afternoon, or perhaps earlier. they have the freedom to organize time. t英语演讲稿2分钟篇4good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. good afternoon, boys and girls. good afternoon, every body. i ’m glad to make a speech here.as we all know, tomorrow is teachers’ day. many people say that teachers are not unusual at all. that’s true. but i want to say though teachers are common, their job is unusual. what they dois very very great. i am an english teacher. so i’ll make an english speech here. and my topic is “live with thankfulness”. do you know what “thankfulness” means in chinese? it means “gan’en”.we know that in the world, we are not living alone. from the day we were born, there have been many people around us. they take care of us. they help us. they teach us. they play with us and grow up together with us. they support us. they understand us. the most important is: they love us. who are they? can you give me your answer?yes, they are our parents, grandparents or family members; they may be your idmates, your friends even your neighbors. they are all important to us. we can’t live without them. we should thank them.we should thank the great world. because it gives us sunlight, air, water and everything we need to keep us alive healthily. we can’t live without them.we should thank our parents. they are the people who gave us the life. they look after us carefully and give all their love to us.i believe if necessary, they are willing to give everything to us. they stay with us, all the time.we should thank our teachers. it is they who teach us knowledge unselfishly. they let us know how to write, how to read, how to get on with others and so on. they are our guide in our life.we should thank our friends, our idmates. they are our partners. they understand us. they encourage us. they play with us. they grow up together with us. they make our life more colorful.my dear boys and girls, teachers’ day is coming.it’s acelebrating time. it’s also a thankful time. let’s take actions together. show our thanks to the world, learn to protect it. show our thanks to our parents, learn to look after them. show our thanks to our teachers, learn how to respect them. show our thanks to our idmates, learn to help and share with them.boys and girls, are you ready? live with thankfulness, from now on. let’s go!so much for my talk .thanks very much!女士们,先生们,下午好。

有趣的2分钟英语演讲好玩的.2分钟英语演讲1good morning, everyone:my name is , a lovely boy of thirteen. i’m very glad to stand here and share my dream with you.different people have different dreams. some people dream of being rich or famous and others dream of staying young for long. i also have a lot of dreams. but my dream is to become a lawyer.if i were a lawyer in the future, i would serve our country first because from tv, i learn the japanese seize our country’s islands.i can’t stand it when they even say these islands are theirs. so, i feel strongly that i must study hard and get back diaoyu islands by law when i grow up. if i were a lawyer in the future, i would serve people heart and soul. i would offer free help for people in need.if i were a lawyer in the future, i would let people live a happier life. of course, i know it’s difficult for me to achieve my dream now, but i’ll make it by my hard working. come on. just do it! that’s all. thanks for all your listening!好玩的2分钟英语演讲2my dreameveryone has a dream. i often ask myself. when i was a little boy, i wanted to be a soldier with a gun so that i could defend our motherland.now i am a young boy with a new dream——to be a doctor.i want to be a famous doctor, helping the sick and saving their lives.i also saw some people who were suffering and dying of ill-nesses.i made up my mind to become a doctor, so that i can help the sick people and cure them of their diseases. china is a develop-ing country. she needs good medicine and good doctors, especially in the countryside and lonely villages.i want to try my best to help the poor sick people of our country.i want to let them have an opportunity to receive excel-lent treatments for their illnesses without having to pay much or any money.i'll do every bit to cure the incurable. i hope to see a world where there is no cancer, no aids, no fatal diseases. i'm confident that through the joint efforts of you and me, man will put an end to his bodily sufferings and this dream of mine will one day be brought into reality.好玩的2分钟英语演讲3 i have a dream todayi have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together. wow, what a dream it has been for martin luther king. but the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and sometimes i personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams.however, we need dreams. they nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. they keep us going. most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. whenwe were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. however, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. don‘t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future. through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it.hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. so my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today.。

Today I want to tell you a story about one of my friends, a lovely and smart girl who is always ready to help others. Being our grade leade r, she is good at both work and study. In many people's opinion, she is excellent and perfec t. But one day she told me she was gloomy and insecure. People around her considered her outstanding and flawless, thinking she could handle everything. But the more she thought a bout herself, the more disappointed she became. She found that she was far from perfectio n. Last week, she didn’t do well in h er French quiz, and the day before yesterday, she was late for a conference. She felt depressed and frustrated, because she failed to be a perfect gi rl without any mistakes.I was surprised to hear that for I thought she had every reason to be confident. Howe ver, the expectation of perfection has become a burden to her. I told her no one could be p erfect and I suggested she find her own position. In fact, people are so eager to be perfect that they demand too much of themselves. T hey want to be special and unique, and they want to have no defects or weaknesses. Howev er, we can never avoid mistakes and errors. It’s impossible for us to be a superman or a s uperwoman. No matter how successful we are, there are always some flaws. If we hold that everything should be perfect, we would be overcritical. My friend now has changed her attitude. She accepts her shortcomings but still keeps a positive outlook. She is even more active and doesn’t allow the mistakes to hinder her p ursuit of excellence. And I think that’s the way we should be!That’s all. Thank you!。

Please dont even bother asking. Dont bother telling the world you are ready. Show it. Do it.I hate that word lucky. It cheapens a lot of hard workI spend my nights just sitting and reading a book and drinking my tea and walking my dog. Thats about as exciting as my life gets.[on his dwarfism] When I was younger, definitely, I let it get to me. As an adolescent, I was bitter and angry and I definitely put up these walls. But the older you get, you realize you just have to have a sense of humour. You just know that its not your problem. Its theirs.Any swagger is just defense. When youre reminded so much of who you are by people - not a fame thing, but with my size, constantly, growing up - you just either curl up in a corner in the dark or you wear it proudly, like armor or something. You can turn it on its head and use it yourself before anybody else gets a chance. You can say no. You can not be the object of ridicule.英语演讲稿2Saying I was lucky negates the hard work I put in and spits on that guy whos freezing his ass off back in Brooklyn.I love animals. All animals. I wouldnt hurt a cat or a dog or a chicken, or a cow. And I wouldnt ask someone else to hurt them for me. Thats why Im a vegetarian.I was fortunate enough to have an upbringing that made me more accepting of who I am.George Martin is an incredible writer.I dress and eat like a fifth-grader, basically. I like sandwiches and cereal and hooded sweatshirts.Being on television, playing the same character for many years, for me, I think that would get a little tedious. So I wont say Im lucky. Im fortunate enough to find or attract very talented people. For some reason I found them, and they found me.Bad guys are complicated characters. Its always fun to play them. You get away with a lot more. You dont have a heroic code you have to live by.英语演讲稿3I think a lot of great male comic actors are introspective, quietpersonalities, which I really admire. But they are really able to turn it up when the cameras on.I like playing the guy on the sidelines. They have more fun.My family had a habit of collecting creatures that didnt always want to be pets. The first animal I can remember was a Lab named Zoe.Call me Elf......one more time!I dont socialize. Im kind of a hermit. The life of an actor can be very lonely.I feel really lucky, although I hate that word - lucky.I think if actors are successful at one thing, they paint themselves into a corner sometimes, and whats the fun in that?I do not fault anyone else who makes choices to play characters that they wished they hadnt... Because at the end of the day, none of us are happy with our jobs all the time.Thats one of the things about theater vs. film - with theater, actors have a little more control, and one of the disappointing things about films is that once youre done shooting, anything can happen, you know?英语演讲稿4Animals on factory farms all face pain and fear, just like the animals we share our homes with, yet are repeatedly abused in shocking ways.I love working with the same actors repeatedly. That happens a lot. Its kind of inevitable, especially if you work with the same writers and directors and you start to form a company of actors. You gravitate towards each other.I never lived in an abandoned railroad station.I was opposed to doing TV for a long time because I thought the quality of writing wasnt very strong, as opposed to film, but theres been a shift in term of the quality of scripts. HBO has attracted a tremendous amount of great writing talent.Game of Thrones is an amazing show, and I have no problem speaking of the virtues of HBO.Maybe everyone is a little too reassuring that things are going to be OK to college graduates. It gives them a false sort of security.英语演讲稿5President Gutmann; Provost Price; Board Chair Cohen; fellow honorees; and todays graduates:Im honored and grateful for the invitation today. Its always great to be on the Penn campus. Ive been to a lot of basketball games at the Palestra because my son played on the team. Coach didnt give him enough playing time, but well talk about that later. No, Im very pleased with the progress Coach Allen has made and I wish them success in the future.Id always get a warm welcome hereexcept on the few occasions when Id wear my Yankees cap.Its like taking your life in your hands. People would say: “We love you Denzel. But you walking around with that hat onwe dont care who you are.”So youll be happy to see that Im not wearing my Yankees cap today. But I am wearing my Yankees socks, my Yankees t-shirt, and my Yankees underwear.Still, Ill be honest with you: Im a little nervous. Speaking at a graduation of this magnitude is a little overwhelming. This is out of my comfort zone.文档内容到此结束,欢迎大家下载、修改、丰富并分享给更多有需要的人。

In spring, we can fly kites which are made by ourselves on the top of the hills. The kites fly very high.In summer, the trees are green and the grass is green, too. It is green everywhere on the hills. There are somany wild apple trees on the hills. The wild apples are nice to eat. In autumn, the corns under and around the hills are ripe. So we eat them almost every day. In winter, when it snows, all the ground is covered with snow. We can play with snow and sometimes we eat the clean snow with sugar. In my hometown the sky is blue, the air is clean, the water is sweet and the people are very friendly. I love my hometown!英语演讲小短文两分钟篇5Everybody is good, the title of my speech today is "reading and life".As is known to all, the book is the ladder of human progress. If you like, please pick up the book of our life is meaningful, into the book world, swim in the sea ofknowledge, it will make you full of ideas, full of wisdom, and, in turn, change your fate, change your life, more let's get back to the truly belong to our self-confidence! Thank you for your speech!英语演讲小短文两分钟篇6a common concept among some people is that opportunities are few. they always complain that opportunities never occur to them. they only admire those people who make a hit or succeed by seizing some opportunities, and always wonder why they are never given a good opportunity to show their talent.another common notion is that there are opportunities everywhere. opportunity may occur to anybody at any time and under any circumstances as long as he/she keeps ma-ki-ng constant efforts. as a student, you can get to the top through your hard work. as a businessman, you can succeed through accurate calculation and with a complete certainty that you can make a profit.in my opinion, opportunity favors only those who keep trying and who are ready for it. as the saying goes "god helps those who help themselves", so no matter whether there's opportunity or not, what we should do is to study, to learn and become learned people, only in this way can you seize your opportunity when it occurs. so never say there's no opportunity again, opportunities are around us.英语演讲小短文两分钟篇7Students, guests , teachers and Honorable JudgesGood morning !my great pleasure to share my dream with you today. When I was a child, I wanted to be a teacher. My father was a teacher, and he taught me a lot. I worshiped him very much. On my tenthbirthday, he asked me,“What do you want to be when you grow up?”I answered proudly,“I want to be a teacher like you!”On hearing this, my father was very happy and said to me, “Work hard and your dream will come true.” Not long a go, one of my primary school teachers was ill. She wanted me to take her place for two weeks. I was glad but nervous. My father said to me,“This is a good chance. Seize it! For our students, how should we face the success and failure of study and life? This leads to the theme I want to talk about today - " victory is not arrogant defeat not lose heart". The ancients once said, " the winner is not proud, the loser is not discouraged. " speak is this truth, when you after their own efforts to succeed, must not be complacent, proud of the world, defiant, but should summarize the successful experience, make persistent efforts, to higher and better goals and strive for; When you encounter setbacks and failures, never lose heart, broken pot broken fall, but should carefully check what you do, to find out the reason, constantly sum up, will be from a failure to success. But to learn from failure, learn fromsuccessful people, from the psychological understanding of failure is temporary, as long as you can adjust the state of mind, find out the problem, in addition to their hard work, you will be able to achieve their satisfactory results. What I want to tell you is that the test is just a means of testing, through which you reflect the degree of knowledge you have learned since the beginning of the school, the level of scores can only represent the past, not represent the future. As long as you can analyze the reasons for your failure from the exam, summed up their shortcomings, I believe that in the future test you will be in the top.thank you.英语演讲小短文两分钟篇16the present society is a world of dazzling money and dwindling human feeling contacts. most people hold a snobbish attitude. they only make friends with people of wealth and of high social status. just as zhen shiyen said in his expounding of the song “all good things must end” in a dream of the red mansions “while men with gold and silver by the chest, turn beggars scorned by all and dispossessed”.frankly speaking, however, if we regard money the first thing in whichever one of the three kinds of loves, it will depreciate and even becomeworthless.love can not pretend, nor can it tolerate too much selfish motives. it is reported that an old man in jiangsu province left his million yuan heritage to his young housekeeper instead of his own children, because his own children didn't take care of him while the young housekeeper accompanied him through his last lonely and helpless years.love is easily perceivable and perceptible. flattery words may be cheatable, but true love and false feelings can easily be distinguished. if the people you love only know how to spend your money, you should be careful of them. everyone can help you spend your money if you give them the chance. never turn your love into the slave of money.love should be selfless, and feelings should be sincere. we shouldn't judge our feelings according to the distance of the relationship. everyone treasures love and nobody can fool himself or the others. a chinese saying goes: real heroes yearn even more for true love, and great men cherish tender love for their children.。
英语的两分钟口语演讲(精选6篇)

英语的两分钟口语演讲(精选6篇)英语的两分钟口语演讲篇1And some of us who have already begun to break the silence of the night have found that the calling to speak is often a vocation of agony, but we must speak. we must speak with all the humility that is appropriate to our limited vision, but we must speak. and we must rejoice as well, for surely this is the first time in our nation's history that a significant number of its religious leaders have chosen to move beyond the prophesying of smooth patriotism to the high grounds of a firm dissent based upon the mandates of conscience and the reading of history. perhaps a new spirit is rising among us. if it is, let us trace its movements and pray that our own inner being may be sensitive to its guidance, for we are deeply in need of a new way beyond the darkness that seems so close around us.over the past two years, as i have moved to break the betrayal of my own silences and to speak from the burnings of my own heart, as i have called for radical departures from the destruction of vietnam, many persons have questioned me about the wisdom of my path. at the heart of their concerns this query has often loomed large and loud: "why are you speaking about the war, dr. king?" "why are you joining the voices of dissent?" "peace and civil rights don't mix," they say. "aren't you hurting the cause of your people," they ask? and when i hear them, though i often understand the source of their concern, i am nevertheless greatly saddened, for such questions mean that the inquirers have not really known me, my commitment or my calling. indeed, their questions suggest that they do not know the world in which they live.英语的两分钟口语演讲篇2I come to this magnificent house of worship tonight because my conscience leaves me no other choice. i join you in this meeting because i am in deepest agreement with the aims and work of the organization which has brought us together: clergy and laymen concerned about vietnam. the recent statements of your executive committee are the sentiments of my own heart, and i found myself in full accord when i read its opening lines: "a time comes when silence is betrayal." and that time has come for us in relation to vietnam.the truth of these words is beyond doubt, but the mission to which they call us is a most difficult one. even when pressed by the demands of inner truth, men do not easily assume the task of opposing their government's policy, especially in time of war. nor does the human spirit move without great difficulty against all the apathy of conformist thought within one's own bosom and in the surrounding world. moreover, when the issues at hand seem as perplexed as they often do in the case of this dreadful conflict, we are always on the verge of being mesmerized by uncertainty; but we must move on.英语的两分钟口语演讲篇3To seize every opportunity to prove yourself to everyone , to prove that you can meet the challenge. to those who say you can never succeed , you will fail to prove , and this is my opinion. if someone says you are the injured , to slump , and for me, if someone suffered this injury might quit , but kobe can not do this . others say it under your die, i would say that you so that you may quit . so i have to prove it to them , especially to my fans who support me , love , i have to win their own , to win the pain , can return to the game . so as to allow those who doubt merethink what is the impossible becomes possible. the importance of these scars is reflected in here , these scars are my shift reflects growing .as a player, i was born with a passion to succeed , you want to win. but also the most important thing in life the hardest thing . as a player , you want to go to the stadium to meet the biggest challenge , i think the biggest challenge is to bring people into the team like a man as to constantly , constantly win, this is the biggest challenge the team of athletic competition , this is exactly my passion . for me personally, the most important thing is to continue to meet the challenge, and never afraid of challenges is extremely important.英语的两分钟口语演讲篇4Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Today I want to tell you a story about one of my friends, a lovely and smart girl who is always ready to help others. Being our grade leader, she is good at both work and study. In many people's opinion, she is excellent and perfect. But one day she told me she was gloomy and insecure. People around her considered her outstanding and flawless, thinking she could handle everything. But the more she thought about herself, the more disappointed she became. She found that she was far from perfection. Last week, she didn’t do well in her French quiz, and the day before yesterday, she was late for a conference. She felt depressed and frustrated, because she failed to be a perfect girl without any mistakes.I was surprised to hear that for I thought she had every reason to be confident. However, the expectation of perfection has become a burden to her. I told her no one could be perfect and I suggested she find her own position. In fact, people are so eager to be perfect that they demandtoo much of themselves. They want to be special and unique, and they want to have no defects or weaknesses. However, we can never avoid mistakes and errors. It’s impossible for us to be a superman or a superwoman. No matter how successful we are, there are always some flaws. If we hold that everything should be perfect, we would be overcritical. My friend now has changed her attitude. She accepts her shortcomings but still keeps a positive outlook. She is even more active and doesn’t allow the mistakes to hinder her pursuit of excellence. And I think that’s the way we should be!That’s all. Thank you!英语的两分钟口语演讲篇5the drawing of political lines goes to the motivation behind impeachment; but impeachment must proceed within the confines of the constitutional term "high crime[s] and misdemeanors." of the impeachment process, it was woodrow wilson who said that "nothing short of the grossest offenses against the plain law of the land will suffice to give them speed and effectiveness. indignation so great as to overgrow party interest may secure a conviction; but nothing else can."common sense would be revolted if we engaged upon this process for petty reasons. congress has a lot to do: appropriations, tax reform, health insurance, campaign finance reform, housing, environmental protection, energy sufficiency, mass transportation. pettiness cannot be allowed to stand in the face of such overwhelming problems. so today we are not being petty. we are trying to be big, because the task we have before us is a big one.this morning, in a discussion of the evidence, we were told that the evidence which purports to support the allegations ofmisuse of the cia by the president is thin. we're told that that evidence is insufficient. what that recital of the evidence this morning did not include is what the president did know on june the 23rd, 1972.the president did know that it was republican money, that it was money from the committee for the re-election of the president, which was found in the possession of one of the burglars arrested on june the 17th. what the president did know on the 23rd of june was the prior activities of e. howard hunt, which included his participation in the break-in of daniel ellsberg's psychiatrist, which included howard hunt's participation in the dita beard itt affair, which included howard hunt's fabrication of cables designed to discredit the kennedy administration.英语的两分钟口语演讲篇6it is wrong, i suggest, it is a misreading of the constitution for any member here to assert that for a member to vote for an article of impeachment means that that member must be convinced that the president should be removed from office. the constitution doesn't say that. the powers relating to impeachment are an essential check in the hands of the body of the legislature against and upon the encroachments of the executive. the division between the two branches of the legislature, the house and the senate, assigning to the one the right to accuse and to the other the right to judge, the framers of this constitution were very astute. they did not make the accusers and the judgers -- and the judges the same person.we know the nature of impeachment. we've been talking about it awhile now. it is chiefly designed for the president and his high ministers to somehow be called into account. it isdesigned to "bridle" the executive if he engages in excesses. 六年级英语精彩两分钟作文

六年级英语精彩两分钟作文It was a warm spring day in my sixth-grade classroom when our teacher, Mrs. Johnson, announced that we would be giving two-minute English presentations to the class. The idea of standing up in front of my peers and speaking in English, a language I was still learning, filled me with both excitement and trepidation. Nevertheless, I was determined to give it my best effort. As the days leading up to the presentation passed, I spent countless hours carefully planning and rehearsing what I would say. I wanted to choose a topic that was not only interesting but also showcased my growing English skills. After much deliberation, I decided to give a presentation on my family's cultural traditions. The morning of the big day arrived, and I could feel the butterflies in my stomach as I waited anxiously for my turn. When Mrs. Johnson called my name, I took a deep breath, stood up, and made my way to the front of the classroom. As I faced my classmates, I could see a mix of curious and supportive expressions on their faces, which helped to ease my nerves.I began my presentation by introducing myself and explaining that I would be sharing some of the unique cultural traditions that my family celebrates. I spoke slowly and clearly, making sure to enunciate each word carefully. As I progressed through my prepared remarks, I could feel my confidence growing with each passing moment. One of the highlights of my presentation was when I described the annual Lunar New Year celebration in my family. I explained the significance of the red and gold decorations, the traditional foods we eat, and the special rituals we perform to welcome in the new year. I even demonstrated the proper way to hold and use chopsticks, much to the delight of my classmates.Another aspect of my presentation that seemed to captivate my audience was the discussion of my family's traditional clothing. I proudly displayed a vibrant, embroidered dress that my grandmother had made for me, and I described the intricate patterns and symbolism behind the design. My classmates were fascinated by the rich cultural heritage that was woven into the fabric of the garment. As I neared the end of my presentation, I could feel a sense of accomplishment and pride welling up inside me. I had not onlymanaged to speak confidently in English for two full minutes, but I had also shared a piece of my cultural identity with my peers. When I finally uttered the last words of my presentation, the classroom erupted in applause, and I couldn't help but smile broadly. In the days and weeks that followed, my classmates would often come up to me and ask more questions about my family's traditions. They were genuinely interested in learning more, and I was more than happy to share. This experience not only boosted my confidence in speaking English but also fostered a greater appreciation for cultural diversity within our classroom.Looking back on that memorable two-minute presentation, I realize how much it has shaped my personal growth and development. It was a pivotal moment that challenged me to step out of my comfort zone and showcase my abilities in a public setting. The sense of accomplishment and pride I felt in that moment has stayed with me ever since, serving as a constant reminder of what I can achieve when I put my mind to it.As I continue on my educational journey, I know that the skills and confidence I gained from that experience will continue to serve me well. Whether it's giving a speech, participating in a group discussion, or simply conversing with English-speaking peers, I feel better equipped to navigate the linguistic and cultural challenges that mayarise. That two-minute presentation in sixth grade was truly a defining moment in my language learning journey, and I will always cherish the memories and lessons it has left me with.。
