1. In the first part, show the interests, purposes of writing, and briefly introduce yourself;
2. Express detailed requests but not promise to buy;
3.Emphasize the importance of the information you need, in order to get more information;
4. Ask them reply definitely;

Introduction
Generally speaking, inquiries fall into two categories: a General Inquiry and a Specific Inquiry.
In a General Inquiry (一般询价), the importer may ask only for catalogues, price lists, samples, sample books, or quotations, etc., in order to get a general idea of the business scope of the exporter. In a Specific Inquiry(具体询价), the importer points out what products he needs and asks for a quotation or an offer for this item.
the letter of reply generally bases on the following principles:
1. If you can only satisfy with some requests, you need to tell what parts you can satisfy with, then explain what you cannot do; 2. If you cannot satisfy with all of requests completely, you should appreciate their inquiry, then give your apologies; 3. Language must be sincere and polite;
The products are selling at a discount. 该产品正以低价销售。

Introduction
Definition of an inquiry:
2. State the purpose of writing the letter. For example, the writer may explain to the recipient what he wants, give a description or specification of the goods he requires or express his willingness to enter into business relations with the recipient, etc..
