到达
作为国内航班乘客,到达后乘客可以到候机厅的行李领取处领取他们的行李。
乘客可以看安装在行李领取处门口的行李传送带屏幕,找出他们的行李所在的那条传送带。
对于那些携带很多行李的乘客,机场的手推车可以给予他们很大帮助。
为了防止行李被误领,机场的工作人员会在门口检查乘客们的行李标签。
作为国际航班乘客,到达后外国乘客需要出示他们的有效护照和入境签证,并根据检疫机构的要求完成入境健康检疫申报卡;而中国乘客则拥有有效护照就可以入境。

At Beijing Capital International Airport, overseas passengers shall go through the following three checks before leaving
the airport.
First you shall go through the Inspection and Quarantine. You are required to fill in an Entry Health Quarantine Declaration Card honestly according to the requirement of inspection authorities. If you suffer from diseases such as AIDs, sexually transmitted diseases you should report to the quarantine staff.
The second is to go through the Immigration, where you’ll have to show your valid passport and entry visa, and the filled-in Entry Registration Card to the immigration officer for inspection.
When you have gone through those formalities, you can go to the terminal building to pick up your luggage. For Terminal 1 and 2 the luggage claim hall is on the first floor, for Terminal 3, it is on the second floor.
The third examination after you claim your luggage is going through the Customs, where you are required to fill out a Declaration Form. If you don’t have anything to declare you can choose to go through the Nothing-to-Declare Channel, or the Green Channel. If you do have something to declare you may choose to go through the “Goods-to-Declare Channel”, or the Red Channel.

Charge over heroin
Drug smuggling has become more and more serious in some countries. And customs officers have been trying to crack down on it. The following is a report from Melbourne Airport by a chief Australian police officer.
A woman has been caught with almost 1kg of heroin at Melbourne Airport. The woman, 54, believed to be from South Australia, was arrested as she got off a flight from Jakarta on October, 13.
Her luggage was X-rayed after Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service officers noticed her backpack appeared to have been tampered with.
Customs officers found a package of white powder. Tests later showed it was 960g of heroin.
The woman was charged with importing a prohibited import and remanded in the Melbourne Magistrate s’ Court to appear again in
January.
Australian Customs Service regional director Jenny Peachey said the case was an example of border agencies combining to produce outstanding results.
