When it comes to payment options, nothing is more convenient than electronic payment ( 电 子支付 ). Electronic payment makes it easier than ever before for your business to sell its goods and services through the net, enabling you to run and accept online payments in real time. For consumers, they don’t have to write a check, swipe a credit card ( 刷信用卡 ) or handle any paper money ( 纸币 ). Secondly, merchant securely transfers order information to some electronic payment system, for example, China Unionpay online payment ( 中国银联在线 ) over the Internet. China Unionpay receives order information and performs requested services. Next, the transaction is then routed ( 按路线发送到 ) to the issuing bank (purchaser’s bank) to request transaction authorization ( 授权 ). The transaction is authorized or declined by the issuing bank ( 开证银行， 发行银行 ) or card (Visa, American Express). China Unionpay returns the message to the merchant. Issuing bank approves transfer of money to acquiring bank ( 收单银行 ). The acquiring bank credits ( 记入贷方 ) the merchant’s account.
