英语中有两种语态，即主动语态和被动语态。 主动语态表示主语是谓 语动作的执行者（施动者），被动语态表示主语是谓语动作的承受者 （受动者）或者说动作不是由主语而是由其他人完成的。

什么是语态？
语态是动词的一种形式，表示主语和谓语 之间的关系。
把下列句子变为被动语态。
1. The reporter is interviewing the movie star.
The movie star is being interviewed by the reporter.
2. The old man told us a story yesterday. We were told a story by the old man yesterday.
A story was told to us by the old man yesterday.

The sports meeting will be held (by us) in ten days. 一般将来时： 主语+ will be + 过去分词+其它

eg. These books are written for Children. 2. 不说或者众所周知是谁做时，用被动语态，省
略 by 短语。
It is said / believed/ reported that… 3. 强调动作的承受者， 句尾加by短语。
一般现在时： 主语 + is/ am / are +动词的过去分词+其它
The police caught a thief yesterday.
A thief was caught by the police yesterday.
一般过去时： 主语+ was/ were + 过去分词+其它
We will hold a sports meeting in ten days.
I was made a doll by my father.
A doll was made for me. 双宾动词（如make ，get，buy，sing等）在 变为被动时，既可以把间接宾语(指人）变 为被动语态的主语，也可把直接宾语（指事 物）变为被动语态的主语，而把间接宾语改 为介词 for 或to 引导。
The cup was broken by David.
