一 Teaching Design
(一) Analysis of the Teaching Material
Ⅰ:Status and function .
This is an important lesson in Book One. In this lesson ,students learn to introduce their family members. Such topic is very useful in our daily life. It’s helpful to arouse students’interest to learn English and it will also be helpful to improve students’ability of listening and speaking.
Ⅱ:Teacher key points :
Teach some English words about family members .Teach students to introduce his (her) family and others’families.
Ⅲ:Teaching difficult points
Develop students’ ability of speaking English and cultivate their good sense of the English language.
(二)Teaching objectives
1.Knowledge objectives :Learn to introduce their family members .
Read new words :father
mother parents brother sister friend grandfather grandmother grandparents .
2.Ability objectives
a:To improve Ss’abilities of listening 、speaking 、reading and writing.
b:To train Ss’ ability of expressing
c:To develop Ss’ability of communication by using the target language .
3.Moral objectives :
a:To arouse students’ interest to learn English .
b:To foster students’ awareness of competition and cooperation .
c:To make students’love their parents 、their relatives and all the people around them .
(三)Teaching and learning methods
In this lesson ,I will use the following methods to help students learn English .
1.Task-based teaching method .
2.Communicative teaching method .
3.Situational teaching method.
As this is a topic about family .I would like then to relate their learning to the real lives. The communication
tasks will involve students in mental processes . Drawing their own family and talking about some stars’and cartoons’families will make students more active .Students will be provided enough opportunities to use English freely .Thus students will have an effective learning environment.
CAI.
Multi media will also be used to expend the content and promote students’ interest during the whole class.
Attention to micro –skill teaching technique .
During the whole class, I will learn with my students instead of teaching students .So I will guide students on some points like words spelling ,reading, etc .It will imply some tricks, ways instead on English leaning .That’s also my personal teaching belief: Always focus on students’ sustainable development.
二.Teaching procedures.
Before the class, students will prepare a large piece of paper and some color pencils .
Step1:Warm-up
Greet the students “What’s your name? What’s he(his)name?”and ask then to sing a song “My family”.
