The movie “The Princess and The F rog” mainly tells us a story about a poor but strong girl named Tiana. When she was on her way to dream, something unfortunate happened to her. We've heard it before. A princess kisses a frog, and it turns into a handsome Prince Charming. But what if instead she turns into a frog?

Tiana is such an unlucky girl. But even in the toughest situation, Tiana hasn’t given up. Whit the company of Prince Naveen and the help of Louis, an alligator who plays jazz saxophone, and Ray , a firefly who fills the Jiminy Cricket slot, she finally find her true dream and the most significant thing. Through which process, Tiana and Prince Naveen are restored and settle down to happy lives of slurping gumbo.

“What I need and what I want is different. What I need is more important than what I want”, from Tiana. These words impressed on me deeply after I finished the movie. Indeed, it is important for us to make a distinction between what we really need and what we want, then find out the way to the true dream from kinds of temptations. The story is set mostly in an African-American community in New Orleans, America's most piquant city, before and after World War I. This city is also the birthplace of Jazz music. So we can learn the social background at that time, and, enjoy the fetching voices and melody as well.

In short, "The Princess and the Frog" is undoubtedly a brilliant movie, no matter in the aspect of expression pattern or the story’s meaningful content. I think, although younger viewers will probably be drawn into the story.
