In 1992, Zhangjiajie national Forest Park is composed of three major scenic spots of the Wu ling yuan scenic area is included in the "World Natural Heritage List UNESCO".
In 1995 March, Comrade Jiang ze min visited Zhangjiajie personally wrote an inscription: "to build Zhangjiajie into a famous tourist resort".
In 2004 February, the Wulingyuan scenic area has been listed as China's first world geological park.
