• Sonnet 18, often alternately titled Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?, is one of the best-known of 154 sonnets written by the English poet William Shakespeare.
Hyperbole (夸张)
• Hyperbole (exaggeration) is any rhetorical device or figure of speech that employs exaggeration. It may be used to evoke strong feelings or to create a strong impression, but is not meant to be taken literally.

• Its theme involves the vulnerability of the narrator's disposition and the power of love.
Pun (双关语)
• The pun is a form of word play word which exploits numerous meanings of a statement, allowing it to be understood in multiple ways for an intended humorous or rhetorical effect

• Sonnet 18 is a typical English or Shakespearean sonnet. It consists of three quatrains followed by a couplet , and has the characteristic rhyme scheme: abab cdcd efef gg.

Structure
• The sonnet contains fourteen lines and is written in iambic pentameter, It is composed of three rhyming quatrains with a rhyming couplet at the end and follows the traditional English rhyme scheme of ABAB CDCD EFEF GG
