Adjusting the stage parameters:

By magnitude:

(1) Determine maximum gain in passband (theoretical gain = 1.000).

(2) Adjust for 40dB attenuation at 0.01* f c and 100* f c (theoretical gain = 0.010).

(3) Repeat (1) and (2) if required.

(4) For high Q stages, simply tune on peak.

Qp

Adjust Qp for 3dB attenuation (theoretical gain = 0.707) at 39.382 Hz and

49.915 Hz.

By phase (preferred method):

fc

Adjust for a 180º phase shift at fc.

Qp

Adjust for a -135º phase shift at 39.382 Hz and a +135º phase shift at

49.915 Hz.
