Next, while as banquets, guests don’t begin to eat until the host raises his chopsticks. It’s rude to stop eating in the middle of a banquet. Drinking also takes an important place during Chinese banquets. As a Chinese old saying, “There is not banquet without wine.”Banquets always begin with a toast, with the host expressing his welcome. Finally, when the last dish is finished, the banquet has officially ended. Generally, the host will say good-bye to everyone at the door and stay behind to pay the bill.
