形容词和副词有原级、比较级和最高级三级

一、原级的常用句型。

1、和...一样... as+原级+as English is as interesting as Chinese.

2、不如...... not as/so+原级+as This school is not so beautiful as that one

3、表示“.....是......的几倍时” ......倍数+as 原级+as.......

This garden is ten times as large as that one.

倍数的表达：once ; twice ;three times;four times.......

二、比较级的常用句型

1. 表示两者进行比较时用比较级，最明显的提示词是than，其结构为“A…+比较级+than+B”。

E.g. Li Lei’s room is bigger than mine.李雷的房间比我的大。

2. 两者之间进行选择，用比较级Which/Who +比较级，A or B?

（）Who is ____ ,Tom or Tim?

A. taller

B. tall

C. the tallest

3. 表示“越来越……”，用比较级重叠结构，即“比较级+and+比较级”，多音节词和部分双音节词时用

“more and more+形容词原级”。

e.g.The more you eat, the fatter you will be.

7. 表示“两者之间比较......的一个”时，用"the +比较级of the two"

Mary is the taller of the two girls.

三、最高级的常用句型

1．表示三者或三者以上的人或物进行比较时，用最高级形式。形容词最高级前必须加定冠词the，句末常跟一个in/of/among短语来表示范围

e.g. He is the tallest of the boys.

四、难点突破

1.为了避免重复，常用the one，that，those等词来替代前面出现过的名词。其中the one替代可数名

词单数形式，the ones或those替代可数名词复数形式，that替代不可数名词。

（1）This pen is shorter than that one.

（2）The weather here is much hotter than that of Shanghai.

（3）The cars made in Tianjin is much more popular than those in Shanghai.

2.old-----older/elder

（1）older用于比较级 e.g. My father is older than my mother.

(2）elder指长幼关系(一般修饰名词作定语); Her e lder brother is a doctor.

3.price 价格

表示价格高低，修饰price要用high/low , 而不能用expensive/cheap

E.g. The price of this coat is higher than that one.

4. population 人口

表示人口的“多”或“少”，修饰population时，不用“much”或“little”，而要用“large”或“small”。例如: China has a larger population than any other country.

5.比较级中any, any other, the other的用法

（2）不同范围的比较用any +单数

例如：China is bigger than any country in Europe .（中国不属于欧洲）

（2）相同范围的比较用any other+单数或the other +复数

Shanghai is bigger than any other city in China .

=Shanghai is bigger than the other cities in China .（上海属于中国的城市）
