4 The term shear-wave elastography (SWE) has been used here according to the current literature, wh images of shear-wave speed using radiation force excitation. Thus it includes 2D SWE and 3D SWE. Th elastography (pSWE) has been used for the method where a regional average only (no image) of shear-radiation force excitation. This emphasises that it is essentially a SWE method, even though in the as ARFI quantification.
