大学英语高级句型

1. Not only … but also…不仅，而且

倒装，前后分句时态保持一致

例句：Not only did we lose all our money, but also came close to losing our lives.

2. while 两种用法

1）但是The husband spent all his money drinking while his wife saved all hers for the family.

2）当。。。的时候while + V-ing She ate a piece of toast while standing by the sink.

3. as

1）At the same time 同时

Kate saw her brother Bill as she was getting of the bus.

4. even though 即使

I liked to play baseball even though I was not good at it. (前后时态一致)

5. once 一旦

Once ( it was ) finished, the task seemed quite simple.

6. v-ing 作为状语从句

She refused to attend the party, not wanting to meet John there.

7. so… that 太。。。以至于。。。

You were so absorbed in the moment (that) lost all self-consciousness.

8. 定语从句

I don’t like the way he teaches English.

The watch which was lost yesterday has been found.

I will never forget the city where I spent my childhood.

He is the people whom I want to stay with.

Ask people who can draw well to help you.

9. despite 尽管

Despite his illness, he came to the meeting.

10. so /nor /neither

后半句中要倒装。So 用于表示肯定的句子，nor/neither 用于否定句。

I know who he is, so is he.

I can’t play the piano, nor/neither can Ann.

11. have + object + V-ed 多用于表示被动含义的句子

I had my bike stolen last week.

12. rather than 而不是分句结构要保持一致

I always prefer starting early rather than leaving everything to the last minute.

It’s important to put the money into new plan rather than increase pay.

He spent most of the time talking to Mrs. Bill rather than to his daughter.

13. the more…the more 越。。。越。。。

The more books a man reads, the more knowledge he knows.

14. instead of 而不是

You should talk to your teacher instead of (talking to ) me.

15. where 引导状语从句

Where I live there are plenty of sheep.

Where conscience remains integrity stays。

16. what 引导名词从句

What I say is none of your business.

17. much less 更不用说

I have never seen the man, much less have I spoken to him.

一般前句为否定句，后句less后面接肯定句，时态一致，结构一致。
