“水滴石穿”这个道理相信很多人都知道。但在现实生活中，人们却很难看到水是怎么努力地穿石。我家的厨房有个洗手池，水常年地击打着石板，几年后，我终于看到水滴石穿的最后一幕。
前天，我走向厨房去洗手。刚刚接近洗手池，我就看见水龙头下的一块板子的中间有一条弯弯曲曲的裂缝摆在我的眼前。那条裂缝清晰可见，不细也不粗，好像人的心里有阴影时留下的一条裂缝。
我感到非常奇怪：那么坚固的石板，大力士都难以搬起，那会是谁呢?于是我把这个问题向妈妈讨教讨教，妈妈说：“是一股股流动的水。因为这块石板在水龙头出的水给冲刷的情况下，难以阻挡。几年后，石板给水软化了，最终显出了一条裂缝。这就是水滴石穿的道理。
听了这一番话，我想起了一个故事，说小水珠和大浪比赛给一块石头打洞，小水珠要九百九百十九天后见分晓。小水珠天天对准一块石头努力地滴，白天黑夜总不偷懒。九百九十九天过去了，小水珠果然给了一块石头打洞，圆圆的，还发着金色的光哩!这就是水的力量!
