名词性从句

在复合句（主句+ 从句）中起名词作用的句子叫名词性从句。名词性从句分为主句从句、宾语从句、表语从句、同位语从句。

宾语从句：作句子的宾语

注意：以下情况只能用whether，不能用if

1.引导主语从句位于句首Whether it is true remains a question.

2.引导表语从句The question is whether it will rain.

3.引导同位语从句There is a doubt whether he is fit for the job.

4.与or nor连用Let me know whether you can come or not.

5.与动词不定式连用I could n’t decide whether to do it next.

I couldn’t decide what to do next.

6.作介词的宾语从句There has been no news about whether they have

finished their work.

表语从句：作句子的表语

同位语从句：在句子中作某一名词的同位语，说明该名词的具体内容。常见名词

有：idea, fact, news, evidence, hope, belief, thought, doubt, promise, suggestion, order,

question, word(消息), rumor(谣言), possibility, statement(声明), notion(观念), dream,

information, reply (答复), warning(警告), conclusion…
