摘要:随着分子生物学的进展,新基因功能的研究手段不断增多。现从生物信息学分析、离体与在体和基因编码蛋白相互作用方面综述近年来有关新基因功能研究的进展,为基因工程等相关领域的研究提供参考。各种方法都有各自的特点和局限性,研究者可根据不同目的筛选最合适的方法,实现对特定基因功能研究的目的。

Abstract:Along with the development of molecule biology,the novel gene function research meth-ods have been constantly increasing.This article reviewed recent progress focused on the functional re-search of novel genes,from the perspectives of bioinformatic analysis,in vitro/in vivo and gene-protein encoding interactions,in order to provide references for the genetic engineering and other related research areas.All methods have their own pros and cons,which requires the researchers to select the most appro-priate method according to different purposes to realize the research on specifc gene functions.Key words:Novel genes;Function;Research strategies
随着人类基因组计划和越来越多的真核生物基
因组的完成,现代基因研究已经步入了后基因组时
代。研究的热点从基因测序转移到基因的功能表达
与调控。对于新发现的功能未知的基因,首先要通
过生物信息学分析对该基因所编码蛋白质的空间结
构及功能进行预测,然后应用分子生物学技术在细胞及动物水平进行研究,并通过探讨该基因蛋白与蛋白的相互作用而确定新基因的功能。
1新基因的生物信息学分析生物信息学是内涵非常丰富的学科,其核心是基因组信息学,即以基因组DNA序列的信息分析作为出发点,分析基因组结构,寻找或发现新基因,分析基因调控信息,并以
此为基础研究基因的功能,研究基因的产物即蛋白质,模拟和预测蛋白质的空间结构,分析蛋白质的性质,其结果将为基于靶分子结构的药物分子设计和蛋白质分子改性设计提供依据。生物信息学的研究目标是揭示“基因组信息结构的复杂性及遗传语言的根本规律”,它已成为整个生命科学发展的重要组
