《清华幼儿英语》的作者是来自中美幼教一线,具有丰富的幼儿英语教学经 验的教师。也就是说,这套教材是由一个一线幼儿英语教师,专为中国幼儿英语教 学编写的,因此适合幼儿的年龄特点和认识规律,教材在形式上采用了教师易教、 孩子易学的方式,很受教师和孩子们的喜爱。由于作者有在美国生活和教学的经历, 因此能够做到语言地道、实用,重视幼儿英语语感的培养。《清华幼儿英语》分为 主教材和辅助教材两大系列。其中《清华幼儿英语》是主教材,《语感启蒙》是辅 助教材。 主教材《清华幼儿英语》和辅助教材《语感启蒙》,是专门为中国的孩子们量 身定做的。这是因为教材是基于中国孩子的具体情况而编写的。教材的编写过程, 包括了对中国孩子的语言特点、思维习惯、生活环境、语言环境、经济状况、幼儿 园现状、师资水平、家长的要求等因素的分析与研究,其目的就是在中国普及幼儿 英语教育。《清华幼儿英语》注重英语语言环境的创设,提倡家园共育的英语教学 模式。它具有三大特色教学活动,即语感启蒙教学、主题儿歌教学和阅读启蒙教学。 其教学方法是衍生于多元智能教学活动的多维重现教学法。

优点:
《清华幼儿英语》不但适合幼儿的心理特点,而且利于培养幼 儿对英语的兴趣,我觉得幼儿阶段学英语,重要的并不是掌握太 多的词汇句子,而是培养其对英语的兴趣。这主要体现在《清华 幼儿英语》游戏和歌曲贯穿课堂,使幼儿在玩游戏与唱歌中不自 觉地学会英语。游戏的种类有判断游戏、指令游戏、选择游戏、 角色游戏、竞赛游戏、卡片游戏等,适合不同年龄的幼儿。另外, 清华幼儿英语的《语感启蒙》,选择旋律简单,节奏感强,朗朗 上口的北美歌曲歌谣,运用音乐教学法让幼儿在轻松愉悦的音乐 中跟着哼唱、模仿和感受英语语言的语音、语调和结构,从而达 到帮助幼儿从小接触和接受英语语言文化和内涵的目的,帮助幼 儿从小远离哑巴英语的尴尬。游戏与歌曲不但培养了幼儿对英语 的兴趣,而且整个课堂变得生动、活泼,使得教师乐教、学生乐 学。 清华幼儿英语的另一大优点则是多维重现的教学方法,将孩子 喜欢的重复变化和探索,巧妙的融合在一起。传统的英语教学采 用单一教学的方式,机械的重复。而多维重现是变化的重复、有 趣的重复。其Circle Time教学环节,充满了孩子和教师之间的互 动,其教学通过故事、动作、游戏和歌曲等形式的变化,对新知 识进行展示、理解、联系和记忆,从而在不同的视角上对新知识 进行多层面的重复。
