ThefamoustranslatorNidausedtosay,therelationshipbetweenrece

ptorandmessageshouldbesubstantiallythesameasthatwhichexiste dbetweentheoriginalreceptorandthemessage.Inmymind,thetransl ationofpublicsignsshouldfocusonthereaders,andduringthetrans lation,weshouldapplytherelevantpoliciestobringthereaders’aestheticjudgmentintoplayandtoachievethebasicfunctionofpubl icsigns.
