探究与点拨：
1.through与across
through与across 两者都“穿过”的意思。

across 是指“从表面通过”，其含义与on有关；through指“从里面（中心）穿过”，其含义与in有关，尤指森林、人群等。

例如：
I walked across the square to the museum. 我走过广场到达博物馆。

We went through the forest. 我们走过森林。

此外，go through 还可以表示“穿越，经历（时间阶段或事件）”例如：
I have gone through a lot of exams. I'm not scared of this test.
我经历过许多考试。

我并不惧怕这次测验。

2.take photos ＝take pictures 拍照
take a photo =take a picture 拍张照片
take a photo of sb 给某人拍照 eg:
请给我的孩子拍张照片。

I had my photos taken in the Great Wall. 我请人在长城上拍了几张照片。

3.nearly 与almost
nearly 与almost都表示“几乎，差不多”，在多数情况下没有什么区别。

一般说来almost 所表达的程度比nearly更接近一些。

另外，nearly不能用于修饰否定词，但可被not 修饰。

试比较：
We are nearly there. 我们快要到了。

We are almost there. 我们就要到了。

4.在公共场所或其他地方，经常有一些警示性语句。

这些语句经常有以下几种表示方法：
1）名词：Danger! 危险！
2）形容词：Dangerous! 危险！
3）No+名词：No photos. 不许拍照。

No passage. 严禁通行。

4）No+动词-ing 形式：No smoking. 严禁吸烟。

No Parking. 严禁停车。

No littering. 不许乱扔垃圾。

5）祁使句：Keep away from the cage. 远离此笼。

5.定语从句先行词中宜用that而不用which的情况。

1）先行词被最高级修饰eg:
This is the best film that I've ever seen.
这是我看过的最好的一部电影。

2）先行词被序数词或the last, the only, the very修饰。

eg: This is the only film that I've ever seen. _______________
3）先行词是不定代词时（如：all, one, much, nothing等）
eg: Is there anything that is interesting? ________________________
