A brief introduction to the author
Jane Austen (1775 - 1817) was an English novelist .She was born in a mid-class family and was brought up in a comfortable environment with harmonious surroundings. She was the youngest of seven children. While still a young girl she had experimented with various styles of writing, and when she completed "Pride and Prejudice" at the age of twenty-two, it was clear that she had found her right form.

Characters’ Relationship
Elizabeth must not only cope with a hopeless mother, two badly behaved younger sisters, and several snobbish (势利 的)females,she must also overcome her own mistaken impressions of Darcy, which initially lead her to reject his proposals of marriage.
Marriage should be based on real love between the lovers.
It’s wrong to get married just for property, wealth and status
Marriage should be regarded carefully bcause it is not a game that you could just enjoy without consideration.
Sir William told Eli about Mr. Darcy’s latest act of dissuading (劝阻) Mr. Bingley’s marring Jane Bennet which caused Eli’s anger.
Then Mr. Darcy came to the Collins’ and confessed his love for Elizabeth, of course he was rejected impolitely.
