IN THE MIDNIGHT

Usually people stay up late on the night before the Spring Festival.They are not going to sleep until the midnight passed.The family members spend a happy time staying together.In the midnight,people light fireworks and enjoy watching the beautiful scene on the sky.
THE FESTIVAL FALLS

On the morning of the first day of the new year,people get up early.Olds put square red paper with a reversed Fu on the door ,and hang res couplets on the front door.Red papercuts are usually put on the windows.Children with their parents come out to visit their senior relatives,and receive red envelopes with money inside.

Do you know how old our Spring Festival is?The answer is,it’s said to be,more than 4000 years.The name of the Spring Festival came out in 1915,and was made by the government of the China Republic which still exist at that time.
