媒体丰富度理论的研究综述

摘要:媒体丰富度理论(MRT)是媒体相关理论中最具影响力的理论之一。随着沟通媒体的不断发展,MRT显示出其局限性,诸多学者对MRT进行完善并在此基础上提出新的理论模型用以解释不同媒体对沟通效果的影响作用。本文围绕MRT对相关的研究进行了梳理,从MRT的实证研究及扩展研究两方面进行了综述,有助于更全面地了解媒体沟通理论的研究现状及未来研究方向。

Abstract: As one of the most famous media-related theory, Media Richness Theory (MRT) lacks of certain Explanatory power with the development of new communication media. To explain the effect of media on communication performance, many scholars have improved the theory, and even raised new media theories based on it. The present study focused on the media theories related to information systems. We summarized the empirical studies for MRT and different improvements from different perspectives, which might be helpful for the future research of media theories.
