武汉钢铁（集团）公司简介
武钢是新中国成立后兴建的第一个特大型钢铁联合企业，于1955年开始建设，1958年9月13日建成投产，是中央和国务院国资委直管的国有重要骨干企业。

本部厂区座落在湖北省武汉市东郊、长江南岸，占地面积21.17平方公里。

武钢拥有从矿山采掘、炼焦（产能吨）、炼铁（产能吨）、炼钢（产能吨）、轧钢及配套公辅设施等一整套先进的钢铁生产工艺设备，是我国重要的优质板材生产基地，为我国国民经济和现代化建设作出了重要贡献。

武钢联合重组鄂钢、柳钢、昆钢后，已成为生产规模近4000万吨的大型企业集团，居世界钢铁行业第四位，2010年，武钢跻身世界500强行列。

武钢现有三大主业，即钢铁制造业、高新技术产业和国际贸易。

钢铁产品主要有热轧卷板、热轧型钢、热轧重轨、中厚板、冷轧卷板、镀锌板、镀锡板、冷轧取向和无取向硅钢片、彩涂钢板、高速线材等几百个品种。

其中，冷轧硅钢片和船板钢获“中国名牌产品”称号，汽车板、桥梁用钢、管线钢、压力容器钢、集装箱用钢、帘线钢、耐火耐候钢、电工系列用钢等优质名牌产品在国内外市场享有广泛的声誉，“武钢牌”被评为全国驰名商标。

近年来，武钢先后获得国家技术创新奖、全国质量管理奖、全国质量效益型先进企业、全国用户满意先进单位、全国企业管理杰出贡献奖、全国文明单位以及中央企业十大典型之一等荣誉称号。

50多年来，武钢历经了三次创业。

1955年10月武钢青山厂区正式破土动工，武钢人开始了第一次创业，迎来了新中国兴建的第一个钢都的诞生。

1974年武钢从原联邦德国、日本引进一米七轧机系统，开创了我国系统引进国外钢铁技术的先河，武钢人开始了第二次创业，走出了一条“质量效益型”发展道路。

2005年以来，武钢以科学发展观为指导，努力推进第三次创业，生产经营和改革发展取得了突出成就：中西南战略扎实推进，本部产能成倍增长，三大品种基地基本形成，自主创新能力大幅提升，“走出去”战略取得突破，内部改革持续深化，相关产业健康发展，节能减排成效显著，企业文化形成特色，职工生活持续改善。

Profile of WISCO
Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corporation (hereinafter as WISCO) is the first giant iron and steel complex established after the founding of the People’s Republic of China. As a state-owned major backbone enterprise under the direct leadership of SASAC (state-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council), WISCO started its construction in 1955 and was put into operation on September 13, 1958. It is based in eastern suburb of Wuhan city along the southern bank of Yangtze River, covering an area of 21.17kl2. Standing among the important premium plate and sheet production bases in China, WISCO owns
a complete set of steel production equipment composed of mining, coking （with a capacity of ton per year）, iron making（with a capacity of ton per year）, steel making（with a capacity of ton per year）, rolling as well as public auxiliary facilities, and has made great contribution to the national economy and modernization construction. After integrating Echeng Steel, Liuzhou steel and Kunming steel, WISCO has become a large enterprise group with an annual capacity of 40 million tons，ranking fourth in world steel industry. In 2010, WISCO entered the list of world top 500.
Centering on three major business divisions: steel manufacturing, high-tech innovative products, international trade, WISCO’s products range over hundreds of categories covering hot-rolled coils, hot-rolled sections, hot-rolled heavy rails, heavy plates, cold-rolled coils, galvanized sheets, tin plates, cold-rolled non-oriented and oriented silicon steel sheets, color coated sheets, high speed wire rods. Among them, cold-rolled silicon sheets and shipbuilding plates are
titled ”National Famous Brand Products”, automobile steel, bridge steel,
pipeline steel, pressure vessel steel, container steel, steel cord of tire , fire-resistant weathering steel, electric steel are popular in both home and abroad markets with “WISCO Brand” as a national reputed trademark. In recent years, WISCO won “National Technology Innovation Award”, “National Quality Management Award”, “National Model Enterprise for Quality Performance”, “National User-Satisfied Leading Enterprise”, “National Award for Outstanding Contribution to
Ent erprise Management”, “National Civilized Enterprise”, and is listed on the top 10 state-owed model enterprises as well.
WISCO has undergone three undertakings for over 50 years. In October 1955, WISCO started civil work at its Qingshan plant, symbolizing the launch of its first undertaking and the birth of the first “steel city” in new China. In 1974, the “1700 mm” mill system was introduced from former Federal Republic of Germany and Japan, setting a precedent for introducing foreign modern technology to the Chinese Iron and Steel Industry, hence, WISCO started the second undertaking, carving out a way of “Gaining Profit through Quality Control”.
Since 2005, under the guideline of scientific outlook on development, WISCO has been forging ahead on the third undertaking and achieved brilliant success on both production operation and reformation development as: the strategy of taking central China as the standing point and developing Southwest has been in progress steadily, production capacity at group’s headquarter increased duplicately, three major production bases have been established basically, the capability of independent innovation improved g reatly, the “moving abroad” strategy got considerable breakthrough, group-based inner reform has been deepening constantly, correlated industries have been on sound development, energy-saving and emission-reduction achieved significant

武钢集团国际经济贸易总公司（以下简称武钢国贸）前身为“中国冶金进出口公司武汉分公司”。

1993年12月31日，经中华人民共和国外经贸部（现商务部）批准成立武钢集团国际经济贸易总公司。

2004年底，武汉钢铁（集团）公司重组改革，将原武钢物资供应公司、原武钢销售公司等单位列入，组建新的武钢集团国际经济贸易总公司。

武钢国贸位于湖北省武汉市青山区，公司注册资金3.694 亿元人民币。

公司主要经营和代理各类商品及技术的进出口业务；销售钢铁及副产品、矿产品、煤炭、合金、金属材料、电工电料、电线电缆、建筑材料、耐火材料、机电设备、仪器仪表、化工产品；批发压缩气体及液化气体、易燃液体、易燃固体、自燃物品及遇湿易燃物品、氧化剂、有毒品、腐蚀品。

承办集团成员企业的中外合资经营合作生产；承包本行业国外工程和境内外资工程；对外派遣本行业工程、生产及技术服务的劳务人员；从事本集团对外咨询及技术交流服务；承担与本公司有关的国内贸易。

武钢国贸从七十年代末期开始承接武钢“一米七”工程的技术引进、成套设备业务。

随着武钢的发展壮大，武钢国贸逐步开始承接铁矿石等大宗原材料进口
业务和钢材出口销售业务，并在德国、日本和香港等国家和地区设立有海外分公司和办事机构，与国内外众多贸易商建立业务联系和合作伙伴关系，贸易额连续多年名列湖北省第一名；多次获得湖北省、武汉市“外贸出口突出贡献奖”和“出口先进单位”称号；2004年、2005年连续两年荣登“中国外贸200强”排行榜。

武钢国贸的主要任务是培育有较强竞争力的贸易产业，形成武钢新的经济效益增长点，并为武钢集团持续发展提供服务。

Profile
International Economic and Trading Corporation, WISCO (hereinafter referred to as IETC) was established with the approval of Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation PRC (known as Ministry of Commerce now) on December 31, 1993. China Metallurgical Import and Export Corporation is the predecessor of IETC. At the end of 2004, Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corp. was restructured and put into the new IETC.
IETC is located in Qinshan District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. The registered capital is RMB 369.4 million. It mainly deals with and acts as an agent in importing and exporting all kinds of commodities and technologies; selling iron and steel products and their by-products, minerals, coal, alloy, metals, electric materials, wires and cables, building material, refractory, mechanical and electric equipment, apparatus and instruments, chemical product; making wholesale of compressed and liquefied gases, inflammable liquid and solid, spontaneous combustible articles, inflammable articles encountering of liquid, oxidizing agent, toxicant and corrosives; undertaking Chinese-foreign
joint ventures and cooperative productions among the member enterprises under WISCO Group; contracting overseas projects and the domestic projects with foreign capital in this field; dispatching contract workers for professional projects, production and technical services; dealing with foreign consultation and technical exchange services and domestic trades related with IETC.
IETC started with technical and complete sets of equipment introduction services of WISCO¡¯s 1,700mm rolling mill project built in the late 70''s. Along with WISCO''''s growing, IETC has gradually carried on large amount of raw material and steel products import and export services. The overseas branches and the offices were set up in Germany, Japan and Hong Kong, and business relations and partnerships were established with multitudinous domestic and foreign merchants. IETC won 1st in trade volume in Hubei Province in the past several years. It has been awarded
¡°Prominent Contribution Prize for Foreign Trade and Export ", and " Advanced Export Unit" for many times in Wuhan and Hubei Province. Moreover, IETC had the honor to be in the list of the ¡°China Foreign Trade Top 200 ".
