The wreckage was salvaged in 1997, with renovation and preservation works completed by 2001. In 2008,Zhongshan Warship was settled in a whole in its original place of service, Jihan Warship Tourism Zone is built.
• 1922年6月孙中山 先生登临该舰指挥 评定陈炯明叛乱。 • 1925年，为纪念孙 中山先生，将永丰 舰易名为中山舰。 • 1938年参加“武汉 会战”，同年10月 24日在抗击日军的 战斗中被日机炸沉 于长江金口水域。
• The year 1922 witnessed Mrs. Sun Yat-sen's command fighting against rebels led by Chen Jiongming on the Warship, which was renamed as Zhongshan Warship in honor of Mr. Sun Yat-sen in 1925. Zhongshan Warship was hit and wrecked by bombs of Japanese bombers during Wuhan defending battle at the Jinkou waters of Yangtze River in October 1938.
