英语写作教学设计

教学内容：本节课是人教版初中英语七年级下册Unit 2 What time do you go to school？的写作课教学。

教学目标：

1.使学生掌握相关的时间表达方法以及相关的词汇，能够就生活中的时间安排及日常活动来进行交谈；

2.通过谈论作息时间及日常活动，培养学生合理安排作息时间的意识。教学重点：

（1）时间的表达法

（2）第三人称单数谓语动词的运用

教学难点：

Students write an essay about their daily activities..

教学准备：多媒体图片

教学方法：启发式教学和讨论法

过程与方法：

Step 1 Warming up

1. Check their homework and ask some questions from their report: What time do you usually get up

What time does he usually get up?

What time does he usually go to school?

……

2. Show the time and ask them to say in different ways.

3. Show the actions they learnt and ask them to say, then to make a sentence.

4. Show 6:30 8:10 11:20 4:15 and ask them to say.

Step 2 Presentation

(1) Show the new pictures of actions and let them try to say: brush teeth, do homework, go to bed, wash face，play computer game.

(2).Ask them to ask and answer in pairs by using the drills in this unit;

Choose some pairs to say.

Step 3 Group work

The teacher give the students a topic “What everyday activities do you usually do ?”. Then the students talk about it and try to write it in groups. Then ask a student to try to make a report.

Step 4 Discussion

The teacher gives two passages about the topic. Then the students compare them.

The first one:

I get up at 6:00. I brush teeth at 6:30, and then I get dressed. At 7:00, I have breakfast. I go to school at 7:30. I have four classes in the morning and I have four classes in the afternoon. At 6:00, I go home and do my homework. I go to bed at 9:30.

The second one:

I am a student. On weekdays, I get up at 5:40 in the morning. And then I

run at 6:00.I have breakfast at6:40.After breakfast I go to school by bike at 6:55.I have four classes in the morning and three in the afternoon. My favorite subject is English. I think it is very useful, so I learn it very hard.I eat lunch at 11:40 at school. After school, I get home at 6:00 o’clock in the evening. I have dinner at 6:05 .Then I help Jim with his homework. Then I brush my teeth and take a shower at 8:50. I go to bed at 9:30 in the evening. This is my day.

Ask them to exchange the message and say something to the partner.Then let the students try to write a new one.

Step 5 Homework

Write a passage about your parents’ daily routine.
