Phubbing is a serious problem in our daily lives. In this article, I would love to share my personal story of phubbing and why we should stop this bad habit.

Last Friday morning, on my way to school, I was playing with my phone as usual. Even when I was about to cross the street at the traffic light, I did not bother to look up to check whether it was safe. Therefore, I failed to notice a car coming towards me until it stopped just half a meter away, braking sharply. Luckily, I was pulled aside by a lady who happened to be walking beside me. The shocked driver was mad at me and began

shouting loudly, while the woman warned me that I should never look at my phone while walking. After hearing her words, I realized how my stupidity could have led to tragedy.
