A desirable place to live in

I have a dream that is living in Yunnan Province. It’s a very beautiful place.

If I live in Yunnan Province, I would like to travel Kunming City to see flowers. It is a city of spring. Then I will go to Dali and Lijiang to visit some old buildings. I can learn some knowledge about history from them. After that I will go to Xishuangbana to enjoy the beautiful mountains and the rivers. It will be very interesting to see the house which is made of bamboo, and I hope to be lucky to celebrate the Water-splashing Festival with the people there. If I can ride on an elephant, I will feel so exciting.

I think that living in Yunnan will a very happy thing in my life, but it is just a beautiful dream now and I must work hard for my dream.

Modern family trends

With the economics developing rapidly and the impact of the various cultures, a great many earth-shaking changes have taken place in the situation Chinese family life.

The Chinese family scale is miniaturized. One survey shows that every Chinese family has 3.6 members. The main reasons are flow of labor force freedom and marriage and family perceptions change. And the most of families have the only child, child is family’s centre. The women's family status and social status are improving and women right is expanding. Also, DINK is popular, especially in large city. Nowadays, the number of DINK couples over 600,000 pairs in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and Guangzhou. At the same time, there are more and more empty nest families in China. The elderly people live alone without any children around, because of family structure to simplify and fami ly scale miniaturization. But it’s a pity that the number of divorced couples is increasing.

However, the traditional patriarchal family is disappearing. The gender equality of modern democracy family is growing in China.

The most prestigious job in my mind

I always have an idea that my most prestigious job is to be a teacher in the university. There are many reasons contribute to this idea.

Firstly, when I was a student, I have been dreaming of being a teacher. It seemed so fascinate to me and I hope I can make my dream come true. What’s more, I like so much to get along with university students. Most of the students at that age are full of passion and young spirit. And I am sure that their passion will pass to me. I will retain all the zest of adolescence.

The most important reason is that our country needs plenty of teachers. So far, teaching is considered a tough and low-income job in China. However, if we have not enough teachers, our future will lack of excellent human resources, such as scientist, mangers, businessmen and so on. How can our country to be strong and wealthy?

In a word, I will be a teacher because being a teacher is the most worthy thing a person can be.

The widening gap between the rich and the poor in China An academic survey of more than 8000 households across China conducted in 2011 suggests a much greater level of inequality, with the top 10% controlling 56% of income. Growing inequality reflects a combination of factors.

China started out thirty years ago with everyone equally poor, as incomes rise it is natural that inequality should as well. But that benign inequality has been aggravated by policies that benefited factory owners, not the mass of workers. A growing divide between have and have-nots has far reaching impact for China's future growth.

China's wealth gap raised concerns about China's development path. The income gap between urban and rural, between communities, and lack of middle class are factors that could affect social stability. If the government wants to succeed in tamping down on inequality, must take effective measures in a timely manner, such as the tax system reform. Government is committed to improve the fact that the widening gap between rich and poor, and it cannot be ignored.
