MC10H600, MC100H6009−Bit TTL to E CL Translator DescriptionThe MC10H/100H600 is a 9−bit, dual supply TTL to ECL translator. Devices in the ON Semiconductor 9−bit translator series utilize the PLCC−28 for optimal power pinning, signal flow−through and electrical performance. The H600 features both ECL and TTL logic enable controls for maximum flexibility. The 10H version is compatible with MECL 10H ECL logic levels. The 100H version is compatible with 100K levels.Features•9−Bit Ideal for Byte−Parity Applications•Flow−Through Configuration•Extra TTL and ECL Power/Ground Pins to Minimize Switching Noise•ECL and TTL Enable Inputs•Dual Supply•3.5 ns Max D to Q•PNP TTL Inputs for Low Loading•Choice of ECL Compatibility:MECL 10H (10Hxxx) or 100K (100Hxxx)•Pb−Free Packages are Available**For additional information on our Pb−Free strategy and soldering details, please download the ON Semiconductor Soldering and Mounting Techniques Reference Manual, SOLDERRM/D.MARKING DIAGRAM*xxx= 10 or 100A= Assembly LocationWL= Wafer LotYY= YearWW= Work WeekG=Pb−Free PackagePLCC−28FN SUFFIXCASE 776MCxxxH600GAWLYYWW1*For additional marking information, refer toApplication Note AND8002/D.See detailed ordering and shipping information in the package dimensions section on page 4 of this data sheet.ORDERING INFORMATIONFigure 1. 5 V ECL Voltage Controlled Oscillator Amplifier
Description The MC100EL1648 is a voltage controlled oscillator amplifier that
requires an external parallel tank circuit consisting of the inductor (L) and capacitor (C). A varactor diode may be incorporated into the tank circuit to provide a voltage variable input for the oscillator (VCO). This device may also be used in many other applications requiring a fixed frequency clock.

MC100ES6039Rev 2, 06/2005Freescale Semiconductor Technical Data© Freescale Semiconductor, Inc., 2005. All rights reserved.3.3 V ECL/PECL/HSTL/LVDS ÷2/4,÷4/6 Clock Generation ChipThe MC100ES6039 is a low skew ÷2/4, ÷4/6 clock generation chip designed explicitly for low skew clock generation applications. The internal dividers are synchronous to each other, therefore, the common output edges are all precisely aligned. The device can be driven by either a differential or single-ended ECL or, if positive power supplies are used, LVPECL input signals. In addition, by using the V BB output, a sinusoidal source can be AC coupled into the device. The common enable (EN) is synchronous so that the internal dividers will only be enabled/disabled when the internal clock is already in the LOW state. This avoids any chance of generating a runt clock pulse on the internal clock when the device is enabled/disabled as can happen with an asynchronous control. The internal enable flip-flop is clocked on the falling edge of the input clock, therefore, all associated specification limits are referenced to the negative edge of the clock input.Upon startup, the internal flip-flops will attain a random state; therefore, for systems which utilize multiple ES6039s, the master reset (MR) input must be asserted to ensure synchronization. For systems which only use one ES6039, the MR pin need not be exercised as the internal divider design ensuressynchronization between the ÷2/4 and the ÷4/6 outputs of a single device. All V CC and V EE pins must be externally connected to power supply to guarantee proper operation. The 100ES Series contains temperature compensation.Features •Maximum Frequency >1.0 GHz Typical •50 ps Output-to-Output Skew•PECL Mode Operating Range: V CC = 3.135 V to 3.8 V with V EE = 0 V •ECL Mode Operating Range: V CC = 0 V with V EE = –3.135 V to –3.8 V •Open Input Default State •Synchronous Enable/Disable•Master Reset for Synchronization of Multiple Chips •V BB Output•LVDS and HSTL Input Compatible •20-Lead Pb-Free Package AvailableMC100ES6039ORDERING INFORMATIONDevicePackage MC100ES6039DW SO-20MC100ES6039DWR2SO-20MC100ES6039EG SO-20 (Pb-Free)MC100ES6039EGR2SO-20 (Pb-Free)Advanced Clock Drivers Device DataMC100ES6039Figure 1. 20-Lead Pinout (Top View)CLKCLKMRV CC171816151413124356789Q01110Q1Q1Q2Q2Q3Q3V EE EN192021V CC Q0V BBV CCD I V SE L bNCD I V SE L aWarning: All V CC and V EE pins must be externally connected to Power Supply to guarantee proper operation.Table 1. NOTES: 1. DATUMS –L–, –M–, AND –N– DETERMINED WHERE TOP OF LEAD SHOULDER EXITS PLASTIC BODY AT MOLD PARTING LINE. 2. DIMENSION G1, TRUE POSITION TO BE MEASURED AT DATUM –T–, SEATING PLANE. 3. DIMENSIONS R AND U DO NOT INCLUDE MOLD FLASH. ALLOWABLE MOLD FLASH IS 0.010 (0.250) PER SIDE. 4. DIMENSIONING AND TOLERANCING PER ANSI Y14.5M, 1982. 5. CONTROLLING DIMENSION: INCH. 6. THE PACKAGE TOP MAY BE SMALLER THAN THE PACKAGE BOTTOM BY UP TO 0.012 (0.300). DIMENSIONS R AND U ARE DETERMINED AT THE OUTERMOST EXTREMES OF THE PLASTIC BODY EXCLUSIVE OF MOLD FLASH, TIE BAR BURRS, GATE BURRS AND INTERLEAD FLASH, BUT INCLUDING ANY MISMATCH BETWEEN THE TOP AND BOTTOM OF THE PLASTIC BODY. 7. DIMENSION H DOES NOT INCLUDE DAMBAR PROTRUSION OR INTRUSION. THE DAMBAR PROTRUSION(S) SHALL NOT CAUSE THE H DIMENSION TO BE GREATER THAN 0.037 (0.940). THE DAMBAR INTRUSION(S) SHALL NOT CAUSE THE H DIMENSION TO BE SMALLER THAN 0.025 (0.635).
