使学生通过对功能结构What do / does ... do on Saturday? I/He/She often + 动词短语.和Do you / Does your ... often + 动词短语on Saturday? Yes, ... / No, ...的学习,学会用英语谈论日常活动安排,掌握一般现在时态的句子结构,理解一般现在时态的含义,并能够在日常生活中运用所学的词汇和句型自由交流。
本单元的难点是在般现在时态中,主语为单数第三人称时,动词形式的变化。
本单元的教学分为4个课时。
第一个课时以Part A中Let’s learn部分的词汇教学为主,在四年级上册Unit 4 When Do You Have Classes?和Unit 8 Boys Like to Play Ball以及本册Unit 2 I’m Cooking in the Kitchen所学动词及词组的基础上,继续学习有关日常活动的词汇;第二课时以Part A中Let’s talk部分的对话教学为主,在复习词汇的基础上重点学习如何询问他人的日常活动安排以及如何表达自己的日常活动安排。
难点是对频度副词often的理解和运用以及动词的第三人称单数形式的变化,即在动词的词尾加-s或-es的变化和运用。
通过对会话的学习,巩固和运用第一课时所学的词汇;第三课时以Part B中的Let’s learn more 为主,拓展学习一般现在时态的一般疑问句及其答语:Do you / Does ... often +动词短语on Saturday? Yes, ... / No, ... 难点是对频度副词sometimes的理解和应用及一般疑问句的构成;第四课时则通过Part B Read a story启发学生思考,引导学生学习合理安排课余时间,不能像故事中男孩那样只注重学习而忽视了锻炼身休。
