一、教学目标分析

1.认知目标

(1)掌握本课时的目标词汇和目标语言。

(2)学习运用 be going to do 这种结构来谈论对未来的打算。

(3)学会用 what, how与be going to do结合来提出问题并做出正确回答。

2.能力目标

听能听懂谈论有关人生理想的词汇及表达。

说能运用目标语言进行有关人生理想的谈论。

读能从课文提供的语言材料中获取有关人生理想的信息。

写能运用正确的语言结构写一篇题为“My Future”的短文。

3.情感目标

通过对人生理想的讨论,让学生从小就树立自己的人生理想,并且下决心为实现自己的理想而努力奋斗,使他们成为有理想、有抱负、有动力、健康成长的新一代青少年学生。

二、重点:目标词汇:engineer, pilot , computer programmer, professional basketball

player, grow up ,computer science和be going to do结构。

三难点:动词一般将来时的用法和基本结构。

四、教法、学法

教法:任务型教学法

学法:合作式学习法、观察发现法讨论学习法、探索学习法

五、教学手段

多媒体、电子白板、录音机、黑板。

六、教学步骤(Teaching steps)

Step 1 Greeting.

Step 2 Play the music "Be What you Wanna Be"

Step 3 Review the names of jobs learned before by showing the pictures.

Step 4 Learn the new words .

Step 5 Presentation Show some pictures on the screen to present the names of jobs. Ask students to answer the questions :

Do you want to be a/an …

Step 6 Learn the target language :

A: What are you going to be when you grow up?

B: I’m going to be a/an …

A: How are you going to do that?

B: I’m going to …

First, teacher and students ask and answer, then st udents make conversations and act out .

Step 8 Summary(小结)

1.句型:

A: What are you going to be when you grow up?

B: I’m going to be an actor.

A: How are you going to do that?

B: I’m going to take acting lessons.

桂平市白沙三中冯彩娟

这节课内容是Unit10 I’m going to be a basketball player. Section A 1a-1c, 重点内容是学习几个表示职业的单词:engineer, pilot , computer programmer, professional basketball player, grow up ,computer science。重点句型:be going to + V.原形表示“将要……”

本节课采用了多媒体课件和电子白板辅助教学,总体上能完成既定的教学目标,整堂课的授课过程基本上是按课件的设计去做,以下为本课的教学过程及改进反思:预热阶段:借助于多媒体,采取连续提问的方式,让学生们回答问题:What does she/he do? 看图说出已学不同的职业的英文名称。我展示不同职业的图片,让学生自由举手回答,或叫学生逐个回答。直接、有效。这一形式具有一定的挑战性,大部分学生的学习兴趣得到了一定程度的激发,气氛活跃。在这一过程中,同学们通过图片复习、学习了表示职业的生词。唯一不足的是,提问时,速度稍快了一点,个别同学反应不过来。
