1、Pandas are in danger. There are only about 1,600 pandas in the wild today.

Pandas do not have many babies. and baby pandas often die.

Alice was sitting with her sister by the river and her sister was reading a book.

Alice had nothing to do. Once or twice she looked into her sister’s book.

”And what is a book for”, thought Alice, “without pictures or conversations?”

Suddenly a white rabbit with pink eyes ran by.

There was nothing strange about that.

She heard the rabbit say.

Betty: Good morning, Ms James! You look pale. Are you all right?
贝蒂：早上好，詹姆斯女士！你看起来脸色苍白，你还好吗? Ms James: I’m OK, but I saw an accident. A boy was riding his bike and listening to music on the road.

Tony: That’s too bad.

Ms James: So when you’re on your bike, think about the risk of an accident! Pay attention, stop at the red lights and…..what else?

Ｏne day, when Henry was working in a restaurant,
一天，当亨利在餐馆工作，
a snake suddenly appeared and bit his hand.
一条蛇突然出现，咬了他的手。

A few days earlier, the snake arrived from Asia in a box of bananas. It climbed out and hid somewhere.

Jo is fifteen and lives in Parkville.
