教学过程
Step 1. Revision
1.Review the previous lesson by asking students what they have learned about summer holiday plans.
2.Ask students to give three examples of activities they can do in summer.
Step 2. Presentation
1.Show students different images of summer holiday activities, such as hiking, swimming, camping, etc.
2.Introduce new vocabulary: explore, adventure, activity.
3.Play a recording of the new vocabulary so that students can listen and repeat after it.
Step 3. Practice
1.Ask students to look at the pictures and choose three activities that they want to do in summer.
2.Ask students to work in pairs and discuss their summer holiday plans using the new vocabulary. They need to tell their partners what activities they want to do and where they want to go.
3.Have some student pairs share their summer holiday plans with the class.
Step 4. Reading
1.Give students a reading passage about someone’s summer holiday plans.
2.Instruct students to read the passage and answer the comprehension questions.
3.Check students’ answers and provide feedback.
Step 5. Homework
1.Ask students to write a paragraph about their summer holiday plans, using the new vocabulary.
2.Assign the next lesson’s reading passage as homework.
教学反思
