I enter tile university after years of hard study and preparation(准
备). But life in the university is not as satisfactory(满意) as what I
had expected. I become lazy and don't want to study.I become silcent. I
become puzzled. I don't know what I can do in the future. Then I become
unhappy.
Four years in the university is only a short period when compared my
whole lifetime. Now it has passed a half. In this year, many people ,such
as my parents,my friends, ask me what I want to do and tell me to map out
a plan for my life. I don't want to follow their suggestion, and I want
to go my style. So I think carefully. I have been a young volunteer(志
愿者) for five years.It's very happy and significant. Then I have a dream.I
want to join the University Student Volunteers Go West Programe. I think
I can be a teacher in the west.I want to try my best to help them and help
me. I want to see the world cearly. Now I can't reach its demand and it's
very diffcult,but I will work hard in the next two years. There is an old
saying"where there is a will,there is a way.(有志者事竟成)"I think my
dream can come ture.Now in the university I mature,and in the university
I prepare for the real world.
At last,I want to say to everybody"Hlod fast to your dreams,no matter
how big or small they are.The path to dreams may not be smooth(平滑) and

What is success? It is what everyone is longing for.Sometimes success would be rather simple. Winning a game is success; getting a high grade in the exam is success; making a new friend is success; even now I am standing here giving my speech is somehow also success.
However, as a person’s whole life is concerned, success becomes very complicated. Is fortune success? Is fame success? Is high social status success? No, I don’t think so. I believe success is the realization of people’
s hopes and ideals.Nowadays, in the modern society there are many people
who are regarded as the successful. And the most obvious characteristics of hem are money, high position and luxurious life. So most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. But the problem is wether it is real success. We all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. If we keep chasing them, where is the end? What will satisfy us at last? Therefore, we can see, to get the real Success we must need something inside, which is the realization of
people’ hopes and ideals.
Different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. But I am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. These are the best treasures. So now I am very proud that I have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. It is my success, cause I raise up to
challenge my hope.
What is success? Everyone has his own interpretation as I do. But I
am sure
every success leads to an ever-brighter future. So ladies and
gentlemen, believe in our hopes, believe in ourselves, we, every one of
us, can make a

We are in a constant state of trying to get something better and
different.We are often trying to be someone different,even when the
current us is pretty decent. If you are not happy being you,then who else
can you be? In each person's life,will meet a lot of individual who will

you a lot of encouragement As for me there are also some people inspired
me.But the most great impact was my dear father.
When I was a little girl,I often want to give up study instead play
games.Then my father will told me "Perseverance is the golden key to being

have quit".When I was a teenager I like to make track for a star,and like
images like,including dress etc.Then my Dad always tell me that"Be what
you are, not what you aren't,because when you are what you aren't,then
you aren't what you are".All of the things are inspired me so much.
Sometimes,I think my father was a philosopher,sometimes think he is
a activists,always set an example for his child ,do what a father should
do.He is always working hard to feed large family, he is always considerate
to forgive his naughty children,moreover he filial piety to the old
person,to repay parents' brought up. In a word, he always so good.
Of course he's not a iron man,he also has a fragile, but he never lose
self,and perseverance.What's more, when I meet with some troubles and want
to give up, he always encourage me.I still remember what he told me
"perseverance overcomes almost everything.When you fall, perseverance
tells you get up.When you are defeated,perseverance tells you to try
again .When you feel like quitting, perseverance doesn't let you".
Nowadays, I am an adults,and as a college student,I always unavoidably
depending on my father, I often call to my father to ask some questions,
meanwhile I also want to know how are they recently I start my college
life followed with my fathers edification.Because of my dear father,I know
how important to be myself.I have to be true to myself, because the only
important thing in life is what you do with the time on spend here in
earth.So I'll always be optimistic and happy in the following time.Also,as
my father told me,just be perseverance to do everything. So that I can
do anything I wish to create my future!

hello! my dear friends !do you like reading books? i guess all of you
will say yes. am i right? thanks to books, we have got a lot of knowledge.
on the other hand, tv is another way of getting knowledge. i still remember: last year, i watched an exciting speech on tv. it was given by american president obama, i could feel his great charm. i admire him. yeah, at that time i made a decision: i try to learn english well and some day i can have a talk with him. however, it’s a pity that my english is not so perfect. what can i do? how can i do it? ah, so much to learn. don’ t lose heart! just do it! i say to myself aloud. if you set up your mind to learn it, you will get much knowledge. i am sure you will achieve your goal.
ok! so much knowledge for us to learn. we should do our best to learn it. we must try our best to learn it as much as possible. because knowledge can make us be learned and wise; because knowledge can make our country develop very fast; because knowledge can make our world be in harmony. ok! let’s keep trying!
as you know, now i am a junior high school student. my school life is very wonderful and there are so many interesting subjects for us to learn, such as chinese, english, maths, history, and so on. ok, let me tell you something about my school life. i hope you will enjoy it. in my chinese lesson, i can recite the old wise sayings: “ isn’t it a pleasure that friends come to see you from far away?”“ what you know, you know; what you don’t know, you don’t know.” these words are so educational. meanwhile, i like english very much. in my english class, i try to practice my oral english. ok, i have a dream that some day i can travel around the world and make many foreign friends. all right! history lessons bring us much enjoyment, and i can have a talk with the great people in history, such as conficius, qinshihuang, dr.sun yat-sen, and so on.

Thanks to his skill and care this young patient recovered， and was soon
able to get up and run about again. The child's mother was very grateful，
and she called on the doctor to thank him for what he had done for her

“Doctor，”she said.“You have saved my little boy's life. I do not
know how to thank you enough. I feel that money alone cannot repay you，
so I have made this little purse with my own hands， as a sign of my
gratitude. I hope you will accept it.”
The doctor drew himself up and said coldly，“Madam， little presents
like that are very nice between friends， but a doctor needs to be paid
properly for his attentions.”
The lady was too surprised and hurt to reply for a moment. Then she
said quietly，“Perhaps you will tell me what your fee is， doctor？”
“Fifty pounds，”he answered.
The lady opened the little purse that she had made and took out four
fifty-pound bank notes. She handed one of them to the doctor， and put
the other three back into the purse. She put the purse into her handbag，
and saying good morning to the doctor， she went out of the room.

It was a long four years. Even after I had actually graduated, the
nightmares began to haunt me, the university would call to say I hadn’
t truly graduated. There had been a mistake and there was just one more
class I needed to take. I was always so relieved to wake up and realize
that it had only been a bad dream. In reality, I had completed every course
needed for my degree, and I was a full-fledged college graduate!
Now, the rest of my life loomed ahead of me. Sometimes a bachelor’
s degree prepares you for a specific occupation——you train to be an
accountant, you graduate and get a position in an accounting firm. Often,
however, your stint in college only prepares you to make further decisions
regarding your future. You’re pretty sure what you don’t want to do!
During my senior year of college, I had toyed with the idea of changing
my major. At that point, I had finally discovered what captured my heart.
But, wanting to finally be finishing school was a stronger pull. So, I
took a few courses in physiology and exercise science, but not enough to
receive a degree in physical therapy. That would require advanced
schooling, beyond my bachelor’s degree——and I just wasn’tready to
tackle that. Having completed my B.C. degree, I didn’t have any intentions
of furthering my education.
So, I did the safe thing and got an office job——the very thing I
was sure that I didn’t want to do! I detested the office policies, the
suits I had to wear and the downtown environment that I had to drive to
every day. I knew this was not where I belonged.
But god knew what path my career was to follow. A position opened up
at the most exclusive health club in our city, so I applied. This was my
kind of environment——an active, vibrant kind of place——completely at
the opposite end of the spectrum from the office environment where I found
myself. The position required that I work Saturday nights and Sunday
mornings. Perfect, I thought! I could keep my office job Monday through
Friday and work at my dream job on the weekends. This arrangement lasted
several months until, eventually, a full-time position opened up and I
was able to resign from my office job.
Over the next few years, I worked my way up the leader, gaining
experience in several different departments. I found my niche as the
director of member services——catering to our clientele and providing
them with numerous cutting-edge programs. I would have stayed at that job
forever——it seemed to be the pinnacle of all my dreams fulfilled. Here
were fellow employees who had a passion for the same things that I did
——health and fitness. Yet again, god had other plans for my life.Within
two years, a newer, bigger, better and more state-of-the-art health club
facility was built——just five miles down the road. And, in turn, the
owner lost many members to that club. And, in turn, the owner lost
thousands of dollars. One by one we were each laid off.
After trying unsuccessfully to land another similar position
elsewhere, I knew what I had to do. Go back to school!thanks!

I am very glad to make a speech here in this class again! This time,
I'd like to talk something about English.
I love English. English language is now used everywhere in the world.
It has become the most common language on Internet and for international
trade. Learning English makes me confident and brings me great pleasure.
When I was seven, my mother sent me to an English school. At there,
I played games and sang English songs with other children . Then I
discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the
English world.
Everyday, I read English following the tapes. Sometimes, I watch
English cartoons.
On the weekend, I often go to the English corner. By talking with
different people there, I have made more and more friends as well as
improved my oral English.
I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America
to visit Washington Monument, because the president Washington is my idol.
Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English
language developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge university, I will
be very happy.
I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. I'll introduce
China to them, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and Anshan.
I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous
hard study, one day I can speak English very well.
If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. So
I believe as I love English everyday , it will love me too.

Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.
There was once a guy who suffered from cancer, a cancer that can?'t be cured. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken cared by his mother. He never went outside but he was sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once. So he asked his mother and she gave him permission.
He walked down his block and found a lot of stores. He passed a CD store and looked through the front door for a second as he walked. He stopped and went back to look into the store. He saw a beautiful girl about his age and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat.
She looked up and asked, “Can I help you?”
She smiled and he thought it was the most beautiful smile he has ever seen before and wanted to kiss her right there.
He said, “Uh… Yeah… Umm… I would like to buy a CD.”
He picked one out and gave her money for it.
"Would you like me to wrap it for you?” she asked, smiling her cute smile again.
He nodded and she went to the back. She came back with the wrapped CD and gave it to him. He took it and walked out of the store.
