Lesson 19
一、教材内容分析
本节课是北京版小学英语教材五年级下册Unit 6 what will
you do in the future的第一课时。

二、学生情况分析
北京版四年级已经接触了有关职业这一话题,初步学习了如何询问和谈论父母的职业,what does your mother do? She is a …….以及一些常见的职业单词,这些为本单元的学习奠定了基础。

而本单元主要侧重于运用一般将来时谈论自己和他人将要从事的职业。

五年级学生有了一定的语言基础,能够简单的表达自己的思想和情感,在学习中乐于参与、积极合作、竞争意识强烈。

教学目标
一、知识与技能
1. 能听懂、会说单词:pilot,professor,pilot等
2. 能理解一般将来时的表达方式,并能初步运用what will you be in the future? I will be…进行对话。

3. 能理解课文内容,并结合自身进行改编
二、情感态度价值观
能够树立自己的理想职业,并懂得为了理想需要做出哪些努力。

教学重点
能够理解课文内容,能够初步运用一般将来时进行表达。

一、warming up
1.greeting
2. listen to a song
T: What job do you hear?
T: What other jobs do you know?
T: Do you like…? T:Why?

【设计意图:通过听歌曲烘托课堂气氛,复习旧知.】
3 guess riddles
1) 看图猜职业
T提示:
The person who is a kind of doctor, he specializes in your mouth and teeth. →dentist

2) 看部分猜职业
T提示:
The person who is good at painting and drawing. He can dra w beautiful pictures →artist
T: Do you like drawing pictures? Do you want to be a arti st? 3)听描述猜职业

【设计意图:通过猜谜的形式猜出本课新学单词dentist,artist,barber。

通过谜面的描述,帮助学生理解不同职业的工作内容,为下文做铺垫。


二、Presentation
1. pic1
T: look at this picture. They are Mike and Baobao. They ar e talking about jobs in the future.
T: What will they be in the future?
【设计意图:通过观察图片细节,针对主题图提问,学生了解到主人翁喜欢飞机,从而猜测两人将来的职业会与飞机有关。


2 play the video
观看动画视频,回答问题
Ss: Mike will be a pilot. Baobao will be a professor.
【设计意图:通过观看动画视频,整体感知故事内容,提取关键信息。


3 Mike
T: why does Mike want to be a pilot? →pilot
看图理解词义,分音节认读单词,T:Where can we find?
What else can Mike do? Can you give him some advice?
【设计意图:分析细节,从书中Mike和Baobao的对话里找到Mike想要成为飞行员的答案,想要成为飞行员可以做什么,还可以做哪些准备。

拓展学生思路。


出示pilot fantastic spaceship astronaut相关图片,重点字母、字母组合标出不同颜色,帮助学生加强记忆。

4. Baobao
T:What will Baobao be in the future? →professor
出示相关图片,
What should Baobao do to be a professor? What else should Baobao do?
【设计意图:第一问锻炼学生提取信息能力,第二问拓展学生思路,能够结合新旧知识表达自己的想法。

出示一组不同职业的人们辛苦工作的照片
T: Yes, we should study hard to be the one we want to be . And when we got the job, we should work hard too. Look, here are some pictures show us that different people work hard in their jobs.
【设计意图:通过图片和T讲解,让学生体会到hard的含义,并能被这些努力工作的人们感动,以此为榜样,不断努力。


三、practice
1. read after the video
T: Open your books please. Turn to page 42. Read after the video.

T: What will you be in the future? Why?
【设计意图:通读课文,加深印象,尝试复述课文,将课文内容内化,从课文迁移到学生生活实际,提高学生英语运用能力。


2. pair work
See a short interview

T: What should they do for the dream job? How about you?
T: there are many jobs in the world, what will you be in the future? 2 in a pair to talk about your jobs.
T: come to the front to share with us.
【设计意图:观看采访短片,模仿对话方式进行练习。

上台展示与大家分享。


3. write down your dream jobs
T: Take out this paper. You can choose a job from the p ictures or you can write by yourself, finish this blank.
4. picture book 【on the job】
Bear brother and Bear sister want to choose a job, they se e many bears work, and what do they want to be?
1)介绍绘本主题
T:Look at the picture, what jobs can you see?
2)猜测他们遇到的职业
T:What does he/ she do? Can you guess?
3) 给绘本加一个结尾
T: What will they be in the future?
T: If you are brother or sister, what will you be?
T: No matter what jobs you choose, you should study hard t o make your dreams come true.
【设计意图:通过观看绘本,巩固新学内容,激发学生对自己未来职业的畅想,鼓励学生为了实现自己的梦想而不断努力。
