摘要：PURPOSE:To increase palatability and improve a feed so that fattening effect may be produced, by blending proteins and iron separated from blood of cattle or pig with a feed for piglets. CONSTITUTION:Blood in a fresh state is collected from health cattle or pig in sanitary equipment capable of preventing putrefaction, bacterial contamination, etc., quick-cooled and directly centrifuged to give blood serum, which is then filtered through an ultrafiltration membrane to remove water and concentrated to afford a solid substance consisting essentially of albumin and globulin. The above-mentioned proteins may be directly obtained from blood plasma; however, purification and concentration may be carried out so that low- molecular proteins are removed. Although the separated blood serum proteins contain some iron, hematocytic hydrolyzates or heme iron is separately blended. The intensity of palatability thereof is
better with increasing blood serum proteins.
