嗯，坐好！1.regret to do something, 遗憾地做某事，上次说了，regret表示“遗憾”时，其后接不定式，其后接的do通常表现为tell, inform, announce, say等，表示对当下要说或马上要表达的内容的遗憾，如：I regret to inform you that your application has not been successful. 不像regret doing something, 表示“后悔做（已经做过的）某事”。

What I Have learned From The Grade 2 Writing Course I
t has been almost one year since we have writing course. In the writing class,
I have learned many new ideas and ways how to think something special,
how to make my compositions look more professional and how to polish my compositions. I like the way the team discuss the same topic or different topics because it give us lots of opportunities to speak. Also I like the way we use computers to do research. （75 words）
First and foremost, I have learned that I am always overconfident because I always think my articles are perfect without many stupid mistakes. From this class, I have known that the ideas in my compositions were very narrow and obsolete because my mind was easy to get to an impasse and the ideas were very similar with other Chinses students’. You know that we have been taught to think on one pattern since we were at primary school. The only way to make my ideas fresh is to do more research on the Internet, make full use of the 21st Century and communicate with my classmates frequently.
Secondly, I have learned how to correct my compositions and others’. An excellent article lies in having profound opinions and good expression. At the beginning, I could not find out the mistakes in my articles. Through almost one yrea’s learning, I know I should correct an article from its structure, ideas and expression. If I modify a composition according to this above process, my composition will become more clearer and professional.
Last but not least, I have learned how to use a computer to polish my article. It is my first time to write articles with a computer that can easily find out our mistakes, and we should make full advantage of it. I have known that advanced words cannot make your article insightful, but we, Chinese students, always like to use advanced words to make our articles look more profound. What is a pity that we always misuse “so-called” advanced words, which leads to our compositions look unprofessional. Why do not we use a simple but appropriate word to make your article clear.
