Beauty Is Not Lacking in Life
Hi there! My name is Emma and I'm a third grader. Today I want to tell you all about how I see beauty everywhere in my life. It's such an amazing world we live in, filled with so many pretty and wonderful things!
Let me start by talking about nature. Whenever I go outside, I'm just in awe of all the beautiful plants and trees and flowers. The bright green leaves, the colorful blossoms, the tall trunks reaching up to the sky. And the sky itself is so pretty, especially at sunrise and sunset when it turns orange and pink. I love watching the clouds too - they look like giant fluffy pillows floating by. Sometimes I try to imagine what shapes I can see in them. One time I thought I saw a cloud that looked like a dragon!
Then there are the butterflies and birds that fly around outside. Butterflies are like little flying artwork with their patterns and colors. Birds are beautiful too with their feathers and wings. I especially love listening to them sing their pretty songs in the
morning. My mom says their singing is like nature's alarm clock to welcome a new day.
Speaking of pretty sounds, I also think music is incredibly beautiful. My favorite thing is when my dad plays the guitar and sings for me. His voice is so soothing and the tunes are always upbeat and happy. Music has a way of making me feel good no matter what. I've started learning to play the recorder at school too. It's harder than it looks but I'm determined to get good so I can play pretty melodies.
Art is another thing I find very beautiful. I love going to museums and seeing all the amazing paintings and sculptures. The colors, the shapes, the creativity...it's all just breathtaking to me. My favorite artists are Picasso and van Gogh. Even though their artwork looks a bit weird and abstract, I think that's part of what makes it so special and unique.
I also see beauty in my family and friends. My mom and dad always tell me how beautiful I am, but I think they are the real beauties. I love my mom's warm smile and my dad's kind eyes. They make me feel safe and loved just by being around them. And my friends are beautiful in their own ways too - Sam's freckles, Lily's long braids, Michael's contagious laughter. Beauty
isn't just about looks, it's about the warmth and happiness people can bring too.
There's beauty in so many other things as well...the first snowfall of winter, a good book that transports you to another world, a cozy rainy day spent inside watching movies,
freshly-baked cookies straight from the oven. The list could just go on and on!
That's why I don't understand when people say the world is an ugly place. If you take the time to really open your eyes and look around, you'll see that beauty is everywhere. It's in the big stuff like spectacular sunsets, and the little stuff like a ladybug landed on a leaf. It's in the amazing talents of great artists and musicians. But most importantly, true beauty comes from the love you feel for your family and friends.
So that's my view on how life is absolutely full of beauty. All you need to do is keep your eyes open and appreciate all the wonderful, awe-inspiring things around you every single day. Beauty is a gift that makes life so much richer and more enjoyable. I feel very lucky to be able to experience it! Thanks for reading my essay. There Is Beauty All Around
Life is full of beauty if you just open your eyes and look around. Beauty is everywhere, from the big things like mountains and oceans to the little things like a colorful butterfly or a pretty flower. Even an ordinary rock can be beautiful if you look at it closely and see all the interesting shapes and colors.
Some of the most beautiful things are in nature. I love watching the sunset and seeing all the shades of pink, orange, and purple in the sky. The leaves changing colors in the fall is so pretty too. My favorite is when the leaves are bright red, yellow, and orange. Going for a hike and seeing tall trees, bubbling streams, and little critters scampering around is always fun.
There is also beauty in the world that people create. Art, music, dance, books, and movies can all be very beautiful. I really enjoy painting and making art projects at school. Listening to pretty songs or watching a beautiful ballet performance makes me feel peaceful inside. Even buildings, bridges, and parks that people design can be beautiful with their interesting architecture and landscaping.
Beauty doesn't just have to be something you can see either. Hearing my little brother's laughter or getting a big hug from my mom is a different kind of beauty that makes me happy. Doing a kind deed for someone else and seeing them smile is beautiful too. Beauty is all around us in so many forms. We just have to take the time to notice and appreciate it.

Beauty Is All Around Us
Hi, my name is Emma and I'm a third-grader at Oakwood Elementary School. Today, I want to tell you about all the beautiful things I see in my life every single day. Beauty is everywhere if you just open your eyes and look around!
Let me start by talking about my family. I think my mom is the most beautiful woman in the whole world. She has long brown hair, pretty green eyes, and the sweetest smile that makes me feel so loved. My dad is really handsome too with his thick mustache and warm hugs. My baby brother Matthew is just the cutest thing, with chubby little cheeks and the funniest giggles. I'm so lucky to have such a beautiful family.
Then there's my best friend Lily. She's absolutely gorgeous with her bright red hair and freckled nose. Lily and I have been
inseparable since kindergarten and I just adore her kind heart and goofy sense of humor. We have so much fun together drawing pictures, playing make-believe, and chasing butterflies in the park. Our friendship is a beautiful thing.
Speaking of parks, the one near my house is like a magical kingdom filled with beauty. There are towering trees with branches that seem to stretch all the way up to the clouds. Bright green grass that's soft under my feet like a plush carpet. Colorful flowers swaying gently in the breeze. And when it rains, the whole park glistens and glistens like a million tiny diamonds.
I also see so much beauty at school, especially in my art class.
