摘要：A room temperature monitor is described. The room temperature monitor is a battery operated device comprising a temperature sensor, a display and a means for drawing attention to the display. The means for drawing attention to the display may be a flashing display, a display back light and/or an audio alert. In an example the display back light may be arranged to automatically flash when the temperature in the room
drops below a recommended level to alert the user to the low temperature. The display back light is switched off when the temperature is above the recommended level. The room temperature monitor may optionally include one or more further indicators of room temperature. The display back light may be optionally arranged to flash at different rates dependent on the room temperature.
