摘要：PURPOSE:To miniaturize an end point detecting mechanism by providing an end point detecting sensor common to the end point of the infinity and the end point of the closest focusing distance and using the output of this common end point detecting sensor to judge whether a lens reaches the end point of the infinity or the closest focusing distance. CONSTITUTION:A reflection film 15 is stuck to a part on the outside peripheral surface of a lens 1 to cover this lens 1, and a photo diode 17 are provided for this reflection film 15. It is detected by the output of this photo diode 17 whether the lens 1 reaches an end point EP1 or EP2 of the movable range. That is, when the lens 1 is within the movable range, the output light of the light emitting diode 16 is reflected on the reflection film 15 and an output is obtained from the photo diode 17. When the lens 1 reaches the end point EP1 or EP2, the output from the photo diode 17 is not obtained. Thus, both end points EP1 and EP2 are detected by one end point detecting mechanism consisting of the light emitting diode 16, the photo diode 17, and the reflection film 15, and the device is miniaturized and the cost is reduced.
